Stockton's mayor is officially nonpartisan, but s/he's probably a Donkey anyway.

Well of COURSE they are. They ALL have AMERICA doing their dirty work for them. It's easy to be safe, clean and pleasant when you don't have to spend a fucking dime on national defense.

Maybe we can get Canada or Australia to start defending us and we can take the $750 billion we spend on the world's defense and start putting it to good use, huh?
Yeah, genius, a ~3% difference in national defense spending (as a percentage of GDP) is what's making all of the difference here. Not to mention the fact that WE'RE the ones who started two wars that we can't seem to end, and into which we pour billions every year.

But yeah, keep using that red herring argument. It's never failed to fail, even after all these years. :kisswink:
3% of nothing GDP compared to 3% of the USA GDP.

The point is, they DO spend money on defense, contrary to what Z claims ad nauseum. But, obviously you aren't going to be spending as much in $ terms when you don't have the population necessary to do so. BTW, both Canada and Australia aren't far behind the US in GDP per capita.

So, it looks as though these generally more liberal countries do a better job of making their cities safe, clean, and pleasant places to live. Try to keep up, Z.

Shit, replace liberals with conks, and 'judging' with 'jerking off', and you're describing 90% of the threads in this forum. :coffee:

So, you admit we're the world's (and that includes Canada & Australia) policemen and that's why they're able to be the way they are? :coffee:

Of course we're the world's policemen. I just think it's horseshit to say that's the only reason they have cities that are safe, pleasant places to live. And, until you provide some solid, concrete evidence supporting your outlandish claim, I'll stand by that. :geek:

New Haven stood out to me. My job sent me to Flint last year for a week, and that place is a shit hole of the highest magnitude. Best restaurant in town is IHOP.

I was thinking of businesses that are legal. I think I can fill up the servers here with the stuff that goes on down there that is not legal.

Maybe on the edge of East Oakland, but GATW covered the core of that part of the city.

I had some KFC for the first time in a long time a week or two ago. Talk about nasty ass shit. All of it. Chicken was marginal at the VERY BEST. I got some sides too, don't know why but whatever, and they were awful. Not just bad, straight up dog barf.

Then you got a bad batch. KFC is some of the best (and most dependable) fast food out there. :thumb: :thumb:
