OH you don't have to worry. There is no way they will ever be able to get rid of the wolf ever again. The government is going to have its hands full with this problem. It will be just another money pit for tax dollars.

How you figure? If left to the locals, they would be hunted out in a year....treat 'em like any other harvested animal...and if the locals are running out of space, start with the California transplants, not the natives....both human and animal natives...

You don't get it. There is no way now to ever ever get rid of them. You can hunt coyotes year round and there are lots of them around. The wolves are reproducing faster than anybody thought that they would. The wolves that some of the ranchers have seen don't seem to be scared of people. That is not a good thing. When, and it will happen, the first one of these wolves kill a human that is all it will take for more people to realize what a fuck-up they made when they voted for this. And the person it eats I sure hope is either someone important or the kid of someone important.

wolves without fear of humans is not a good thing. Like I said, if there was limited 'goal-oriented' removal/hunting (as long as the only goal is to install a fear of humans in the wolves), then I am ok with that.

Tman...suck my dick you fokking blowhard....what part of my argument is incorrect? That we almost hunted the wolves to extinction? That we couldn't do it again? That ranchers don't receive subsidies from the government? Which part? That's the problem with you and your ilk..it's all or nothing...I state to take them off of the list if they have a sustainable population and treat them like any other big game with a season and limits...you know...blance...game management,,,and your reponse? I'm a fokking ne'er-do-well liberal elitist enviro-whacko...good job Rush...I'm not against ranchers, I am against allowing a small population in a certain region annilhate an entire native animal population so they don't incur some loses of a non-native cash cow....they should be hunted as man is their predator, but it should be MANAGED like any other animal population as they do serve a function in a natural cycle....anyone who thinks otherwise is merely looking at the inconvenience and dollar losses...you're a fokking idiot...

If you were a cattle rancher and losing $10,000-$12,000 in income every year (like my sister and her husband) from wolfpacks, you wouldn't feel they were so "noble". Wolves kill DOZENS of their cattle every year.
Losing cash? I though ranchers got reimbursed by the federal government for this?
