He has that right in America we are a "free society". Its basically the same thing as being gay. Everybody has the right to do as they please as long as they follow the law and they shouldnt get preferential treatment or lay a guilt trip on people when they dont.

I wondered if he thought they were Muslims as well. If he just hated non-whites he could've gone to a Black Baptist Church or something. To me you probably have to kind of go out of your way to find a Sikh Temple. I've never seen one. Well maybe I have and just didn't realize it but I'm pretty sure they're not real common in the United States. Or maybe they are in the area where this guy lived. Kind of doubt it though.

I'd say shooting up a Food Lion or Publix is general hate. Going to a religious gathering place tells me it is definetly premeditated and he held a disdain for them. Now, did he know that Sikh is an Indian tradition? Maybe. I don't know if he was from that area, but if he were he probably knew they weren't Muslims (even though the turbans, dark skin and beard are "typical Muslim features/attire"). This punk was an ignorant bigot, nothing more. He should be forgotten.

I know where 3 Sikh temples are located within 20 miles of my house...and I know there are more in Maryland...
