The funny thing about all of this is that all the Facebook clickbait that says things like "You'll never believe President Obama's latest executive order on free money" are almost exclusively aimed at low information Dem supporters (who dont vote)

Both sides have stupid people. However, it's pretty clear that the Democratic side has proportionately way more of them. I'm talking about when it comes to looking at the population characteristics of those who vote either Democrat or Republican in any given national election. It's not even really debatable.Apparently there's also no monopoly on people who think only the other side has stupid people
And that's one thing that kind of gets me when I see/hear liberals/progressives talking/writing as though it's the Republican side that benefits from having a bunch of people who have no clue as to what's going on voting for them. Exit polling clearly indicates that the opposite is the case. It's the Democratic Party that benefits from that. I call it the "Zombie Vote."
It's not the Republicans running around on election day trying to bus people who have no clue to the polls. It's not the Republicans who have to worry about people who might be inclined to support them being "sophisticated" and engaged enough to register to vote, decide to vote, go to the correct place to vote, etc. We all know how it works, even though some of us may not want to admit it.

In 2012... "No college", "some college", and "college" education levels were within the margin of error. The only outside the margin of error was "Postgrad" which went to Obama with 55%.
In 2008... Obama won each education demographic outside the margin of error.

Re: Conks really will believe anything written about Obama.
I can just use one of your links to start. The 2012 link doesn't break things down far enough. However, your 2008 link makes my case. Remember, what I said is that the "lowest" intelligence level groups vote for Democrats.Skjellyfetti wrote:Link?JohnStOnge wrote:I'm talking about when it comes to looking at the population characteristics of those who vote either Democrat or Republican in any given national election.

http://elections.nytimes.com/2008/resul ... polls.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Note that according to the estimates at your 2008 link people who did not finish high school voted for Obama by an estimated 63% to 35%. Also, there are correlates to IQ other than education. A big one is income. I don't see income addressed at your 2008 link, but you can see it at http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#USP00p1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. The lowest income group voted for Obama by 73% to 25%. The second lowest voted for him by 60% to 37%.
Finally, like it or not, a good predictor of IQ is race. And you can guess which race is characterized by the lowest average IQ. It's pretty much accepted that Blacks score, on average, around 1 standard deviation lower than the overall average on IQ. That translates to saying that about 85% of Blacks are of below average IQ.
And you know what that's going to look like. In fact you can go back to your 2008 link. That year 95% of Blacks voted for Obama. Also, you and I both know it's not just because Obama is Black. It's because Blacks ALWAYS vote somewhere around 90% for Democrats. Yes, Obama being Black probably made it 95% instead of 90%. But that's one generally low IQ group the Democrats can count on like the sun rising in the morning.
I know it offends political correctness. But it's VERY clear that the party that benefits most from having the lowest IQ, least educated people voting is the Democratic Party. Again: It's not really debatable if there's an honest debate. Of course what will happen is that people who are objective about it will be shouted down, called racists, etc.
And those dumb assed liberals who ARE relatively educated and intelligent will continue to walk around with their heads in the clouds incorrectly thinking that it's the OTHER party that benefits from the "Zombie Vote" because most of them will never actually look at what the polling data say.
The Democrat political professionals know though. And that's why they do some of the things they do.

Re: Conks really will believe anything written about Obama.
Hey, here's a good one. Let's go back to one of my favorite wells: The National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) test results. Let's see....what would be a good subject area to look at to gauge the extent to which students have some clue as to what's going on in terms of the workings of the country.
Oh WAIT...I know...CIVICS. So now let's look at the results from the most recent NAEP 12th grade Civics test. It was administered in 2010. That means the population represented by that NAEP sample is voting age now. Now, let's look at how the average scores among this "scientific" sample of the 12th grade population went by ethnicity:
White 156
Asian 153
Hispanic 137
Native American 134
Black 127
Now let's see. Hmmmm. Who might we expect the majority of those in the lowest score group to be voting for now that they're of voting age? How about maybe in the lowest 3 voting groups? Hey...how about the OVERWHELMING majority of those in the lowest three voting groups? Now let's see...WHICH party do you think benefits most from the vote among the lowest scoring group? Hey, how about the lowest three voting groups?
Gee. I wonder what the answers are.
And by the way, based on the standard deviations you'd estimate that the average score of Blacks is lower than 80 percent of the scores among Whites and the average score of Hispanics is lower than 70 percent of the scores among Whites. So this is not close.
Implement an honest, fair poll test that people must pass to show that they have some understanding of how our system is supposed to work and the Democratic Party would be devastated. Book it.
This thing where liberals think the "uninformed" or "dumb" or "ignorant" factor favors the Republicans just isn't reality. The opposite is the case.

One more in case you want one that's not directly about ethnicity. Let's look at the 2010 NAEP Civics test scores for students who were eligible for the school lunch program and those who were not. You know, school lunch program eligible means "poor" and not eligible basically means "not poor."
Here we go:
Eligible: 132
Not Eligible: 155
Now, hmmmm. If you had to bet, who would you bet has the advantage among the lower scoring of those two groups now that they are of voting age. Gee. I wonder.

Re: Conks really will believe anything written about Obama.
Exit polling gives you voting demographics. Then you look at the demographics and make an rational judgment about what that says. And if you are looking for information on which party benefits most from voting among the lowest IQ levels and least informed exit polling results on the demographics of voting clearly suggest that it's the Democratic Party. Please define "no clue what's going on" and the types of questions that are asked in the exit polling.
They don't absolutely cinch it. To cinch it you'd have to directly test the exit poll subjects in some way. But any reasonable person would conclude that it's likely.
And I'm sorry but a lot of it has to do with ethnicity. I know people aren't supposed to talk about it but the Democrats must have something on the order of a 70 to 75 percent vote among non whites to be competitive in national elections. And non whites in general don't do very well when it comes to looking at testing. Asians do. But Asians are only 3% of the electorate. When it comes to the two major non white groups that allow Democrats to be competitive the picture is not pretty. If you want me to post some more testing results I will. But I suspect you already know what the picture is going to look like.
The weirdest thing about this is how the popular perception has developed this paradigm suggesting that Republican should somehow be ashamed of consistently winning the majority of the White vote. The whole time Democrats MUST not only win the non white vote but win it by better than a 2 to 1 margin. And it's pretty clear that Whites in general know more about what's going on than non Whites in general do. Sorry, but it's the truth.
