Ugh, I just got out of a three hour contract review board for another goat rope of a contract. The contracting officer was a black female and it was one of the biggest turds of a solicitation I have ever seen written. The worst part is she was getting very defensive to the constructive criticism we the board members were trying to give her. Wtf is it with black women? Take your damn lumps and fit in with the rest of society, there, Latifa or whatever your name is.

When I have time this afternoon, i'll regale you all with the story of Crystal Flowers (not her real name). Talk about defensive...she got downright aggressive.

The Crystal Flowers Story
Years ago, I was sitting in on an interview of a black woman named Crystal Flowers who had come highly recommended by one of the Government clients (Red Flag #1). Her resume was impressive with 2 Masters degree’s in Comp Sci and Engineering. Before the interview, we were thinking this was the right person for the job. Actually, didn’t even know she was black. The person that showed up was not what we expected. The person that shows up is middle-aged woman with a bad weave who didn’t look, sound or present herself in any way that says she’s an educated woman. As the interview continued, and we asked questions about her experience, technical abilities, etc… it became obvious she was lying. For someone that claims to have 2 Masters and had worked for over 10 years in the field, she didn’t know a single thing. We asked her bluntly if she was lying. That’s when the ghetto side of her came out and she called us racists for even suggesting she was lying and that she was, “representin’ for da black woman!” We concluded and she had to be escorted out after she continued to hurl obscenities at us. Needless to say, we didn’t hire her. After some digging, it was proven that she had lied on her resume (and then she suddenly dropped her lawsuit as quickly as she had filed one). Two months later, she was hired by another gov’t contractor to work on a project under the Gov’t client who had recommended her. It was here that she began passing out Black Panther and other black power literature. All of this was being done ON a military installation. This is also the time that she apparently began turning tricks. Not long after it was discovered that she ran a website where you can order her for sex. Then it was discovered that she was a renter and her landlord was….the Gov’t client who had tried to get her hired at 4 other companies before one finally did so. She was quickly fired as was the Gov't client but the legend of Crystal Flowers lives on.
