Re: Jill Stein forced to leave debate site...
She tweeted something about trying to get on the stage. I don't agree with the rules that give hegemony to the monied parties, but if it was credible that she was there to disrupt the debate then I agree with her being escorted away. There's already plenty of attention being given to the fact that she and Johnson didn't meet the threshold to make the debates, so she won't gain any additional traction by showing her ass.
That said, I think a 15% polling threshold is a generously low threshold for entrance into the debates- it really isn't that much. We can blame these "nonpartisan" entities that run the debates all we want, but the real problem is us. Trump and Clinton didn't get the polling numbers they have in a vacuum. Real Americans are answering affirmatively for them. The retard demographic in this country is to blame, and it is a powerful bloc.

As any real liberal should (BernieChizzang wrote:Jill Stein HATES Hilary Clinton with an intensity that she rarely exhibits elsewhere in her demeanor...Cluck U wrote:Stein spoke at the UD campus 2 weeks ago.
The article in the local paper said she had a few things to say about Trump, but that she reserved most of her criticism for Hillary.
Of course, the Liberal press didn't bother to expand on what Stein said about Hillary, and the article can't be found on the local newspaper website.![]()
The protection of Hillary is amazing...and disgusting.

I think the polling threshold for the debates should be 5%, similar to the 5% vote threshold for partial matching funds. Even then, Stein might have missed the cut.CID1990 wrote:She tweeted something about trying to get on the stage. I can't say whether the shitty, nationally owned News Urinal covered it.

Re: Jill Stein forced to leave debate site...
I agree with the polling requirement, it should be "substantial" enough to keep the random candidates off the stage...however I think the issue with the threshold is over 15% in 5 of the national polls. Are all the polls held to a certain standard of "polling protocol"? Did/do all the polls have the candidates listed as options when they conduct their polls? Are all the polling time frames the same/similar to even allow a 15% threshold to be met?CID1990 wrote:She tweeted something about trying to get on the stage. If the answer is no to any of these then there lies the issue. Oh and yes obviously the establishment (D & R) want these 3rd party folks out of the limelight so I don't expect anything to change with the threshold or any standardization of the polling criteria and requirements.

If Jill had gone through with that stunt I would become her second-biggest fan on this board and maybe even vote for her. I'm absolutely fed up with the shitshow this campaign season has been and anything that can be done to bring attention to the two largest third parties is okay with me.

She's been peacefully arrested about 30 times - the bitch is straight up crazy awesome - but kinda dumb
However:
I assure you she was going there to f*ck things up intentionally

Cornel West endorses her, don't know her from Adam but that is a red flag to her image I would think?
