What would you have done if Obama could have run for a third term and it would've been Obama vs. Trump on the ballot? That's not a trick question or anything. Re: Which Poster is More Triggered by Trump
Don't know. I would never vote for Trump unless he was running against something truly worse, like Ted Cruz for instance, and even then I doubt I could do it. Obama had run his course, his effectiveness as a leader was long gone. He was a celebrity, a very popular one, at the end, as he is now. I would've likely thrown my vote away again as a personal protest against the vacuous tripe running for President.JohnStOnge wrote:What would you have done if Obama could have run for a third term and it would've been Obama vs. Trump on the ballot? I asked because of the results of the Selzer & Company poll I've mentioned in other posts. As noted in those other posts that is a 538 A+ rated poll that was conducted November 4 through 6 and had Clinton winning the overall popular vote by 3 percentage points point estimate.GannonFan wrote:Don't know. When it had just Trump vs. Clinton in a 2 way race it had it as Clinton 46, Trump 43. But when it asked the same people who they'd vote for if it was Obama vs. Trump in a two way race it was Obama 53, Trump 41. That shows two things for the respondents. One is that there were people who said they'd vote for Trump when the alternative was Clinton who would've voted for Obama if HE was the alternative. When Obama was the alternative in a two way race Trump support dropped from 43 to 41 percent. The other thing is that there were fewer people who were unsure. 46+43 = 89 while 53 + 41 = 94. There were people who wouldn't say they'd vote for either candidate if the Democrat was Clinton who would have voted Democrat if the Democrat was Obama.
