Next step is to create the Gannon Foundation in which you take contributions from local businesses to look the other way on certain audits and regulations...and keep all your files on a server in your bathroom and deny any intent of wrong doing. JSO would certainly approve and proclaim you to be the most moral and competent township auditor of all time.

My term is a 6 year term, so I won't be on the ballot again until then. I think I'll still try to do it again then because this time I was just a write-in, but it would be cool to register and actually see my name on the ballot (FYI, I would cross register so I show up under the Dem and GOP columns). Seeing how one vote won the election for me this year, I think I would be in good shape to win again with my actual name on the ballot (and no opposition of course).89Hen wrote:SDHornet wrote:Great story Gannon!

I will say it is pretty cool to see your name on the ballot. Winning is fun too, especially when you run against somebody.GannonFan wrote:My term is a 6 year term, so I won't be on the ballot again until then. 6 year term is a long one. A lot of time for graft and corruption.
