I'm resigned to it. The runaway national debt is like climate change. It is obvious that it exists, and we will suffer the full effects of it, whatever they may be (bad or good).

As Cleets is fond of saying, “we don’t have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem.” The complete inability to look beyond what’s good for ME and see what’s good for the COUNTRY. The inability to say NO to any pet project, porkbarrel amendment, etc., etc.

My guess is it will not be "good". Hopefully I am not around to see it, or I have enough money to not care.
