What can be done about Conservative talk show lying?

2) Is this administration - after dramatically increasing the deficit - now using that deficit
3) As a tool to remove social programs

The problem isn't me listening. I listen and check. But there are 10s of millions of people out there who listen and think that what people like what Sean Hannity are saying is the truth. THAT is a problem.

I am indeed a conservative. And that is why I am particularly disappointed in what's going on with the conservative side right now. It's easy to call out the other side when it's wrong. The real test is whether you are willing to call out your OWN side when it's wrong. And there is a serious problem with dishonesty and lack of integrity within the conservative movement right now.

I am indeed a conservative. And that is why I am particularly disappointed in what's going on with the conservative side right now. It's easy to call out the other side when it's wrong. The real test is whether you are willing to call out your OWN side when it's wrong. And there is a serious problem with dishonesty and lack of integrity within the conservative movement right now.

You don't just call out your own side, John (and yes, thats a rare and principled thing)

But you also openly wish for the decimation of the Trump GOP which would be the only possible remedy

But that would leave zero check on the polar opposite (and equally bad) progressive left- and it doesn't seem like you have really considered the endgame there

we've entered a new era of politics in the US and it is a race to the bottom - and there will be two choices for principled people: drop out completely, or go along. I'm 3/4ths of the way there on the first option. In fact when it comes to spending and the national debt I have completely quit. There's no audience for it and we are beyond the point of no return anyway.

"Obamacare. We're going to repeal it, we're going to replace it, we've already got something on the table that's better, you'll love it it's the best healthcare plan in the world"

"No one will lose coverage. There will be insurance for everybody. Healthcare will be a “lot less expensive” for everyone..."

I'm confused... about what is actually worse here

Obama lied too, but not nearly as often - and sometimes he had the good sense to use proxies

But the mechanism by which each respective side justifies any bullshit from the Prez - at all - is exactly the same with Trump as is was with Obama, GWB and Clinton. Sometimes that bears repeating

since you've chosen to pursue a pointless "who's worse" debate, I'll go ahead and state that Trump is by far the greatest bullshit artist/liar we've had in the WH. But I'm not going to rehabilitate Obama or Bush or Clinton just because Trump is a pool hall redneck
