Yeah, what do I know. For the most part, he's loved by the people that matter - SC Republicans. He may be "Grahamanesty" and a flip-flopper, but that hasn't stopped him winning by over 50% of the vote. Even when they are Republican opponents, he's the choice.

He has a primary tomorrow and there's no doubt that the 3 unknowns running against him will fail. Just like all the others.

You mistake beloved with hiding in the shadow of Trump’s very wide ass.

Graham is tolerated these days only.

Internal polling from the state G.O.P. showed that Mr. Graham had become South Carolina’s most popular official among Republican voters there. He used to rank among the least popular.

And when Trump is gone he’ll be right back to where he was before Trump showed up. His numbers in SC are linked directly to his support of Trump.

Btw, what an awful and lazy name for a character, even a minor one. More evidence that even by Return of the Jedi it was more than apparent that George Lucas had lost whatever creative flair he had by that time. He was a one-trick pony with the original Star Wars and it was all downhill from there. Spielberg must have carried him through the Indiana Jones films.

No argument from me there. He had a good initial idea, but his long term thoughts and plan of the direction he wanted to go is/was seriously lacking. Spielberg did carry him through IMHO. I can't think of a film he directly directed afterwards that actually was good.

It is almost like he didn't expect it to be as big of hit as it was and didn't know what to do when it did become a hit. He has been ridding the momentum of those first 3 movies for most of his career.
