You know I call houndawg HDoge don't you? Couldn't think of anything insulting, yet, so I upgraded his stupid name.Bobcat wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2024 10:33 amBidens administration has tried for 4 years to crush crypto and keep it under their control and not let it out of the bag. The SEC just throws big fines on crypto like XRP to stifle it because they know its the next big thing and they are trying to figure out how to screw every person hard, while they can make all the money off it and control it. Currently there are very few laws regarding crypto and trying to regulate this with old time laws is totally ridiculous. Currently they cant even define if crypto is a security, commodity or an asset. The IRS is trying hard to define crypto for everyone but they can fuck off.SeattleGriz wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 8:05 pm
I think it's obvious crypto will eventually become the digitized version of the dollar, but what I believe to be most people's issue, is they see no way they are going to strike it rich. I think most people believe our government will easily fuck the average Joe over.
I do believe some will make some big bank, but not more than a small percentage. If you can explain how many will be allowed, id appreciate that, as my coworker could never explain shit.
On a side note, this coworker used to talk about this guy on X who knew everything and his name was cryptohulk. So I went on X about a week later and saw cryptohulk had blocked him!! Lol.
A big part of the reluctance is that it's very hard to find anyone that can explain the process in a cogent manner.
99% of the influencers on youtube and X dont know anything more than anyone else and all of them are wrong 95% of the time. The only people over the last 6 to 7 years I have been following this technology that get some things right are Michael Saylor, Ben Garlinghouse, Ncashofficial to a lesser degree Alex Becker. Everyone else makes AI videos with clickbait titles and tries to act like they know whats up and are always wrong.
Kind of like houndawg

Re: Crypto
RLUSD Ripples stablecoin which the entire backbone of the world financial system will be ran on is backed by the dollar. Its basically not regulated until the US government figures out how to screw crypto technology companies because they were too late to figure out what was going on and are now playing catch up. XRP is taking over the world and will be bigger than the current SWIFT system. XRP is 10G internet and SWIFT is AOL dial up.
Like I said earlier, people can be skeptical and make up fear campaigns like "its a Ponzi scheme" but this stuff isn't going away its only going to get bigger and bigger. People that dismiss it are going to find out how wrong they were in the next year. This is the biggest technological happening in the world in the last 100 years. Bigger than computers, bigger than the internet, bigger than cell phones.
HBAR and their web 3 technology is possibly going to be as big or bigger than XRP. Definitely faster and more secure.

Remember Dubai, UAE knows nothing about money or taxes. Tell them they are wrong and its a scheme and isn't backed by anything.
Bitcoin in the next 2 years will have a higher market cap than gold does at 18 trillion. Bitcoin is currently around 3 trillion When you have worldwide wealth at 186 trillion and crypto is at 5 trillion, the moment that all the banks get on board with XRP (they will BOA is already on board and almost all Japanese banks are) that will dump 80 trillion into a market that is a ponzi scheme. Why would banks do that, they dont like losing money.
Everything in the world will be tokenized regardless if you believe in it or not.

I got the skepticism 15 years ago, but now its just silly to not think everything is going this way. Plus the way I have navigated this over the last 10 years was simple. I wont tell you the amounts but the formula I followed was like this.
Lets say I invested 5k.
I don't buy meme coins, I buy legit tokens with technology behind them (Altcoins) and stable coins.
SO when my initial investment of 5 got to lets say 20k. I pulled out my original investment so I am out absolutely nothing. When the 15k left got to 30k I would pull 10k out. Wait for a big dip then buy back in with that 10k at lower prices. When that hit 75k I pulled 25k out and did the same thing. Waited for the dip during covid. when shit got as low as it did I shoved that 25k back in. Now things are skyrocketing and my initial fake money is around 400k and going up by 5 to 7k a day the last 4 to 5 days. This is a formula and in no way relates to the exact numbers I invested, I pulled my entire 401k and dumped it into crypto, then used this process.
Its gonna really pop on Monday when we get a pro crypto President and new SEC guy that know how to put America first. When that happens I am gonna pull half out and with for the market adjustment/dip. When I buy back in with that and things start going back up I am retired.
Biden put my industry in a huge bind and the company I worked for closed, I have been without a job for over a year. Trump being elected literally turned my entire life around and will allow me to do things 5 years ago I never would have dreamed possible.

Crypto is digital gold and digital real estate, Bitcoin is a store of value unlike anything in history. That is why Michael Saylor from Micro systems is spending all his money on Bitcoin. Currently as I type this, Solana is at $213 a token if you bought 2 of them today. ($426) On Monday you will at least double your money. There is absolutely ZERO chance you lose a penny of your money.

But its a Ponzi scheme and not backed by anything. We all know our government wouldn't waste money, that's not what they do.

Everything they do is shady. Who knows. The point is they were late to the party, they had to slow the roll so they could fuck normal people over while they all got up to speed and can insider trade like they do.Caribbean Hen wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 2:48 pmWhere did the US gov get the money to buy it with?

Today the market cap of crypto is $3,52 Trillion. Imagine what is going to happen when banks dump 100 to 188 trillion into this market. Its math so even hdawg can get help figuring it out. Anything you invest soon is at a minimum going up 33.3%.
Unless you are a senator or congressman you cant beat that ROI.
All of these numbers are before retail buys in, when that happens this technology goes to the moon

Re: Crypto
If you bought $5 dollars (one cup of coffee) worth of Bitcoin in 2010 you would have owned 12.9266 Bitcoin
Worth 1,291,138.19 today in real dollars.
I said it before this is like living in a world without money and a banking system. Then in 2025 a banking system is created with a flexible, fast, secure transportation system. We get the opportunity to buy in early. This is the single biggest technology thing that has ever happened to the world.

Some analysts speculate that the outgoing Joe Biden administration may sell all government-held Bitcoin in a politically motivated decision ahead of Donald Trump’s upcoming presidency.

As of Jan. 9, the US government was holding 198,000 BTC, worth around $18.5 billion, according to data resource Arkham Intelligence. The $6.5 billion is part of the same reserves.

The government can’t track cash therefore it’s a goner … just a matter of time
Not sure what all these Chinese NYC “cash only” businesses will do
but surely they will create an underground cash economy
