watch what happens to your research grant when you publish findings not acceptable to the consensus scientific community- and try getting a grant in the first place without stating a pro-AGW intent

Sure thing Kalm.

A couple years back, Watts had a compilation of pro-AGW vs Unbiased Climate related research, I believe the author was a Meteorologist out of CU Boulder.
The ratio was around TWO MILLION TO ONE, respectively.

Either your IQ has plummeted to 50, or your "observation" is overtly disingenuous.

I'll look around and try to find the study. Since you and Kalm are now resorting to throwing back irrelevant red herrings to convolute the debate, I'll accomodate you by cooking those herrings, then force-feed 'em back to you.

Bon Appetit!

Here you go, Hippie...

As of 2009
http://scienceandpublicpolicy.org/image ... _money.pdf

Debunking the "Brulle Report" (an alarmists lame attempt to claim no disparity in funding)...
http://www.forbes.com/sites/jamestaylor ... -research/

Federal funding, 2008-2014 (note, government categorizes funding $77 billion to research for "climate change" research and "climate change adaptation"...confirming the government's predisposed assumption of the existence of "climatechange", and further, a category for "greenhouse gas reduction", again, biasing research to assume an, as yet unproven, correlation between "greenhouse gases" and "climate change"...
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source= ... 8588,d.cGU

Couldn't find the CU study, but Joanne Novas 2009 research sticks a fork in the myth of equality and research non-bias.

Eat up!

Sweet Jesus you libs are lazy. :ohno: :ohno:

The May 2014 Southern Hemisphere sea ice extent was 12.03 million square km (4.64 million square miles), 1.24 million square km (470,000 square miles), or 11.5 percent, above the 1981-2010 average. This ranked as the largest Antarctic sea ice extent on record, surpassing the May 2000 Antarctic sea ice extent by 370,000 square km (140,000 square miles), approximately the size of Japan. This marked the 17th consecutive month with much above average sea ice extent in the Southern Hemisphere and the second consecutive month with record large sea ice. In fact, six of the last 12 months have had record large sea ice extent in the Southern Hemisphere. Much of the above-average ice extent occurred in the Weddell Sea off the West Antarctic coast, with above-average sea ice in nearly every region. Southern Hemisphere sea ice extent during May is increasing at an average rate of 2.5 percent per decade with substantial interannual variability.

When combining the Northern and Southern Hemisphere sea ice extents, the globally-averaged sea ice extent during May was 24.81 million square km (9.58 million square miles), 2.6 percent above the 1981-2010 average and the sixth largest May global sea ice extent on record. Global sea ice extent during May is decreasing at an average rate of 0.1 percent per decade.

I think it goes without saying that private moneyed interests ALWAYS have an agenda. Nothing new there.

The problem is that too many people seem to think that the government is as pure as the wind driven snow when in reality (and I see it all the time) it is also just as agenda driven

Nowhere, at no time, has the government ever operated without an agenda.

The majority of posters on this thread, over 90%, agree with AZ. So using the Donk shoutdown methodology, the debate is settled, AZ is correct.
