In Delaware it doesn't. In Virginia it mattered a bit more. But Virginia is going increasingly blue as the Federal Government vortex continues to suck liberals into NOVA.kalm wrote:I'm guessing she's "for" about 80% of what you care about just like Trump. Re: Presidential Debate Thread- #1
True, but he didn't lose anyone either. When so many expected him to fly off the handle, have a meltdown or major gaffes, he didn't. This was Hillary's 15th 1 on 1 political debate as a major political candidate (Senate or POTUS). It was Trumps 1st. He was the big underdog here. He was suppose to lose. He did lose, but not badly. The fact there was no knockout means I don't think Hillary gets much if any bump. If she gets one at all it might be 1-2%. I don't see any 3-5% bump..93henfan wrote:Totally agree, but there are still some undecideds (as well as Stein and Johnson cute moral standers) out there and some, even if it's only a couple of percent, will certainly gravitate toward Clinton after these 90 minutes. Trump gained nobody. That's all I'm saying.GannonFan wrote:
I don't think that happens anymore. People listen to what they already want to listen to. If you're already in one of these camps then you're certainly going to believe that camp won. Trump people are going to love what Trump did, Hillary people are going to love what she did. Doesn't change that it was a mess all over the place.

Well, lending support to GF's previous comments is that multiple members of CNN's focus group say that neither candidate truly impressed them or said what they needed to say to get their vote.

Not surprised about the bias of Holt & NBC. Look at the questions Trump was asked (ex tax returns). Did Holt ask Hillary about her mishandling & lying about classified e-mails? No. Did he ask her about Benghazi? No. Did he ask her about the Clinton Foudation and pay to play? No.
Of course Trump blew it by not bringing these up, other than the 33k deleted e-mails. The good news for him is that he has 2 more debates to do this, and I don't think he will waste the opportunity again to hammer her on these issues..

Watching the debates is like watching an old episode of the Honeymooners. Waiting for Trump to say, one of these days Hilary, pow, straight to the moon.
The debates really showed how deceiving Clinton is. She is really try to baffle the American public with her Bullcrap. Trump has no substance. This leaves the only 2 viable candidates. As crazy as people say Johnson is, he's not as crazy as the dynamic duo. Stein is the other option. Both would get my vote over either one of the duo.

On the surface, the man is worth 100s of millions of dollars. I'm not sure you can honestly say he isn't good with money. You almost have to believe that he knows what he's doing if he was able to turn a million dollar loan into billions. Bad investments aside, the man has never been in bankruptcy (his companies have).Chizzang wrote:Ibanez wrote: You think someone that's worth millions upon millions is bad with money? I see the bankruptcies differently. Often times they are used as a financial tools and don't really mean the individual or company is flat broke. These were businesses not him personally. And it was 4 times that his companies filed Chapter 11. Sometimes its not the person but outside factors. I would imagine the gaming industry isn't an easy one to survive in.

Have you ever been to Atlantic City? Do you know that Philadelphia now has casinos? Do you know where Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun are? Do you know that Maryland and Delaware have casinos?
It's called competition. Add to that, the bad economy and the Atlantic City corruption, casinos fail. Revel failed after one year there (that was a far worse business blunder than anything Trump did).

Check out CNN's top block right now and tell me they aren't biased.
"Clinton pokes,Trump takes the bait"
Clinton fact-checks Trump ...
... so does CNN's Reality Check team
Debate pro: Trump's very thin skin
The debate in under 2 minutes
Clinton: Trump's 'Miss Piggy' jibe
Trump: 'I'm smart' not to pay taxes
Conway: Trump doesn't believe climate change is man-made
Why was Trump sniffling so much?
Trump complains about debate mic
Trump repeatedly interrupts Clinton
