When private businesses do this I secretly pull for them to fail - as in bankruptcy failure - I don't care what the cause or crusade is. IDGAF about your corporate activism. I also don't pay attention to your green endorsements, your charities, your work with children's homes, whatever

I want you to do what I pay you to do and minimize my inconvenience and heartburn when you do it.

That said, US airlines don't have to worry about it - if sh1tty service was a killer theyd all be dead already... so I doubt pissing off NRA members is going to dent them any more than the regular manhandling of passengers

Yum, we are being infiltrated by Chik fil A in the Twin Cities. I think their corporate message is being massaged to conform to modern values. Similar to politicians like Obama and Clinton. Follow the money. Unfortunately the right is not moving as fast in that direction.

Similarly, as an NRA lifer, I don’t really care what airline I fly on. 10 times out of 10, I’m picking the one that has some combination of the cheapest and shortest flight to where I’m going. So they made a show for the media on guns. Don’t care if it saves me $500.

I have no parochial connection to Chick Fil A. I believe they were founded in/around Atlanta. Their chicken sammich is the best in the industry, but that’s just part of the equation. Their biggest asset is their HR. They only hire good kids to work there. Friendly, hardworking, and the girls are wholesome hot. Those who have been there know what I mean. I hesitate to call it a fast food restaurant, though it surely is. It’s really in a different category than a McD, BK, KFC, Popeyes, etc.
