Just off the top, there is physical evidence that Pontius Pilate existed.
There are book scrolls of the life of Herod the Great.

That's just a couple quick and easy examples. There is a ton of evidence from the Roman Empire.
I didn't say Pontius Pilate was a fictional character.

Also, there was no record of Sargon the great until they found him in the Bible.

It was a good economy, people had jobs, people were getting promotions, etc., before he got elected.

The reason you should care is because it's an example of the fact that he is a total bullshitter. It is not the greatest economy ever in the United States and it's not close. You have a guy who is lying to you. Repeatedly. That's not a good thing.

I notice you didn't try to rebut anything I wrote and you really can't. If you're talking about stuff like unemployment coming down and job creation there is absolutely no evidence that Trump made things better. Meanwhile you have a thoroughly dishonest, mentally unstable person in that very powerful position. Meanwhile that person is destroying the credibility of conservatism. Meanwhile that person is eliminating any hope that the Republican Party can survive as a viable force in the long term as United States demographics evolve.

Trump being elected is an absolute disaster with respect to the things you believe in. The only question is how long it's going to take for you to realize that.

Why bother? I could have better luck talking to a tree, but they don’t listen to me, either.

Did Obama say 3% growth was impossible?

You know the economy grew over 3% for about a dozen quarters while Obama was President?

Got as high as 5.1%.

So... going to assume he didn't say that. :suspicious:

Yet under the GOP, starting with God-King Reagan, the deficit seems to always explode. And then Democrats swoop in and have to clean up the damage, but there's only so much sweeping one can do.

I mean I can stop paying my debts today and my life will be instantly better in the short-term.

Long-term? Not so much.

Face it, conservatives have no idea how to spend money. And what's worse, the debt they take on doesn't even help the average American; Republicans are the ultimate welfare queens.

But I do agree with Fiver that both sides are guilty and congress obviously plays a huge roll.
