I remember back in college reading about how Simplot was one of the biggest welfare rancher queens in America. A handful of uber-rich dudes controlled the majority of BLM grazing acreage, received some sort of subsidy and even sub-let the public land to small ranchers costing the taxpayer hundereds of millions a year.

Well I guess this bag is already past considering "ogling" to be rape, then

Exactly...
It's not even worth having the "price of Freedom" conversation
because somehow old fashioned freedom (our least favorite kind)
doesn't make room for "not" hurting my feelings

We're all free to be offended by others opinions
but that's on the table to get legislated out

Far-right Brazil candidate snubs 'peace and love' after winning 1st round
RIO DE JANEIRO (Reuters) - Far-right candidate Jair Bolsonaro said on Monday he would stick to tough rhetoric in the second round of Brazil’s bitterly contested presidential election, after his strong win in first-round voting sent financial markets soaring.

Bolsonaro, a former Army captain and veteran lawmaker, nearly won the presidency outright on Sunday, taking 46 percent of votes against leftist Fernando Haddad’s 29 percent — part of a dramatic swing to the right in Latin America’s largest nation.

As neither candidate won an outright majority, Bolsonaro will face Haddad, the former mayor of Sao Paulo representing the Workers Party (PT), in an Oct. 28 second-round vote.

The coyotes are actually coaching them to bring kids, because they have common sense (and we don't, apparently)

The last couple sentences in the piece are spot on. If the Democrats aren't for open borders, then why are they behaving the way they are?

Big money to be made off kids once they get here to America. A lot of gubmint money going to those who can house them once separated from their "parents".

Probably should let these people march in to the USA, as they are more important than the people going thru the system, and signing all the paperwork and immigrating the legal way.

I've been issuing visas to legal immigrants for years and one thing I have noticed is that immigrant visa recipients have little sympathy for border hoppers. It has been many years since the INA has been updated and maybe it is time to nudge legal immigration up a bit. Legal immigrants have a tendency to vote against transforming the US into the countries they came from.

I think both sides realize that the overwhelming majority of naturalized citizens will end up tending to vote Democrat. Here's one article on that:

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/stud ... es-for-gop

You can Google around and fine more. I think there's a reason why Democrats are more immigration friendly than Republicans are.

Yeah. It did that in Texas. Not a gradual “get used to the temp” change, but a full on, kick in the nuts 50 degree temp change in about 4 hours.

Here's another one:

https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/10/ ... al-values/

It references the same study as the previously linked article does but has an update in the form of estimates from the 2016 Presidential election:
The political impact of immigration today is fairly clear. The foreign-born gave about two-thirds of their votes to Hillary Clinton in 2016,

That’s correct. But they are voting for the overall platform, which includes quite a bit of largesse in the form of entitlements.

Narrow them down to immigration only and those numbers start to shift. They aren’t in the red yet, but you’ll find that immigrant groups who have long assimilated tend to go conservative on immigration. Particularly people of Mexican persuasion

And you’re right- that’s why Dems are immigration friendly. But they think that more is better than less, and don’t know when to quit. Give this open borders talk a few more years to percolate and watch what happens.
