Ya know, I really got emotional 11 years ago when my dad was given his pink slip at Playtex after 40 dedicated years, broken only by getting drafted and serving in Vietnam. It didn't seem fair that a guy who was really good at a really shitty job, who showed up on time every day for four decades, and then who suffered the humiliation of having to train a Malaysian management team on how to take over his job that he knew was being outsourced, could so coldy be let go with nothing but his meager 401k.

I really have channeled a LOT of that hate on the Clintons. That is the one thing that makes me really happy tonight. Fuck you Hillary and Bill. You fucking losers.

The fact is when decent workers and large parts of our society have not seen any growth in real wages for decades, lack decent medical care and housing, and confront staggering debt, all in a world in which the distribution of wealth and opportunity matches metrics from the Garfield administration, then strange, angry and even perhaps bad things inevitably occur.

I travel in four hours to the capital of our (was, is, and still will be) great nation, on business. The surreal nature of a Trump win may only be appreciated fully there, in person and in the solemnity of the Lincoln Memorial.
