Is that really news? I mean, that's been talked about for years.
Yup, she banged him when he was 60 and she 30. Well played on her behalf, netted her quite a bit of cash.

ST. PAUL — Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., on Tuesday, Feb. 5, announced that she would have big news for Minnesotans that she plans to share Sunday, Feb. 10, in Minneapolis.

The news about a forthcoming announcement comes after the 58-year-old Democrat has said she's mulling a bid to take on President Donald Trump in 2020. Klobuchar would enter a growing field of Democrats vying for the party's nomination.

Klobuchar in November clinched her third Senate term, winning more than 60 percent of the vote over Republican Jim Newberger. Her campaign highlighted that victory in the notice for Sunday's event.

Minnesotans can attend the event at Boom Island Park in Minneapolis with public entry beginning at 1 p.m.

Wasn't Warren supposed to officially announce her campaign for the Presidency this week?

Instead she's STILL trying to clean up from her American Indian claims. She has a 1/1024 chance of winning the election. :)

You know, I've noticed that kind of thing too. A lot of people seem to want to claim they have "Indian" or "Native American" ancestry. I don't get it. But I've seen that a lot.

It's like my Father in Law. He claims his grandmother was an "Indian" but he looks like a flipping Viking. My wife and several other people closely related to him have had DNA tests. No "Native American" stuff. My wife has Black in her (just a little). But no "Native American."

I just don't get the thing where so many people want to say they have "Indian" blood. Me, I'm glad my DNA test said I'm 52% French. And yes I know they haven't been good at war recently. But I don't care.

Every black person I've ever talked to for long enough eventually told me they had a grandmother that was Indian.

I think you may under estimate the potential level of support for this sort of thing in the general population. No, Republicans will never support it. At least not in the foreseeable future. But Republicans are only about a quarter of the population.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/meet-t ... te-n950646

It's consistent with a theme that emerges with respect to many issues: The Republican Party is associated with declining demographics and attitudes. It is in the process of going extinct.

You clearly have not seen any of the idiocy of the new green deal. It is so bad that the neo-liberals aren't even pretending to be on board.

Good call. But that staff abuse story may make it tough for Amy. Besides which, her last name is too difficult. Doesn’t come tripping off the tongue like Bush or Clinton.

Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar’s mistreatment of her office staff began more than a decade ago and eventually caused such concerns that in 2015, then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) spoke to her privately and told her to change her behavior, multiple sources have confirmed to HuffPost.

Klobuchar, a Democrat who plans to announce whether she’s running for president at a rally in Minneapolis on Sunday, has faced trouble hiring campaign aides because of her history of mistreating staff.

Trump branded her and that started her inevitable, slow implosion.

He took her out with a tweet.

Give that ALL the women in congress stood and applauded for only ONE THING: women, me thinks there’s a little bit of “disdain” that needs to be gettin’ over from the other side as well...
