This dumbass doesn't understand that the gas stations are only making 2-3% profit margin on gas.
I'm surprised he can even type out a tweet..

Simply cared where his next donor check came from. Very much like when a career politician, like Hillary, says she's been in service to America for 30+ years, but yet can't come up with anything of substance. Uniparty.

Mine's up a lot too. Going to cost me another $600 for the year coming up (I pay over 10 months and that is the discounted plan). Brutal.
Short caulk? Sounds like a personal problem ...
What are ya’ll complaining about. Biden and the rest of his minions were crowing about zero inflation the last month.

Well, Biden has been well insulated from the problems of real people for decades now. He's an entrenched DC politician, his knowledge of the real world is limited.
Fed waited about 8 months too long to start raising rates. Once the inflation horse is out of the barn, it’s tough to reign in.
They'll try to do anything to make people not fully appreciate the enormity of the inflation problem. There's a reason why the Fed used to have control of inflation as their number one priority because, as you say, it's extremely difficult to bring down inflation once you let it get out of hand, and often the best way to bring it down is for the economy to go through a painful recession. We're in the less painful recession now and it's not working, so the next year or two doesn't look particularly rosy right now.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 6:21 amFed waited about 8 months too long to start raising rates. And what Brandon’s minions fail to realize is that it’s not just 8.3%. That’s on TOP OF the 5+% it was up LAST year, so that’s over 13.5% just since he took office. Yep. Nothing to see here, move along. He’s a fucking genius.
People (and the media especially) like to deliberately ignore this fact. When one has a moving baseline, just reporting the number is basically useless without factoring the rest of the story in.AZGrizFan wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 6:21 amFed waited about 8 months too long to start raising rates. No one has been more consistently wrong in their interpretations than JSO is whenever he talks about economics. He might be the dumbest person I've ever encountered on these boards when it comes to that topic. Probably a nice guy, but as dumb as dirt about economics. And I'm trying not to insult dirt.
Was actually worse that that Calendar 2021 was 7%..On pace for higher than that this yr..Winterborn wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 7:21 amPeople (and the media especially) like to deliberately ignore this fact. Yes. I was talking specifically about August of last year, which was 5.3%. Not the calendar year.BDKJMU wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 9:15 amWas actually worse that that Calendar 2021 was 7%..On pace for higher than that this yr..Winterborn wrote: ↑Tue Sep 13, 2022 7:21 am

Damn, worst day of the year. All 3 indexes down 4%-5%.
