Same here. The turn against Bernie was palpable with some of my friends as well.

As I’ve said before, I learned my lesson with Obama’s 1st term appointments and have voted on principle ever since. I know....politicians are unprincipled and dishonest?....huge shocker!

It's very easy for Americans to ignore the working poor...individual ruggedness and all that fun stuff.

When you have a comfy home, good job, good benefits, good inheritance, nice car, and your "worldly" vacations are Mexican beach resorts and major European cities, you don't have to see the large segment of society who works 16 hours and can't afford rent or education, people who decide between money and their health, folk who can't afford good lawyers and receive prison sentences for minor offenses, immigrants who escape tyranny to find themselves in a cycle of poverty, the mentally ill who can't hold a job...

...but hey, they should pull themselves up by the bootstrap.

Agreed, Biden's never been a Blue Hen supporter until they've already won something, and then he shows up. With all the politicians in Newark on a fall Saturday (Castle, Roth, Carper, even Chris Christie) Biden was almost always a no show. He's like to Delaware what Gore was to Tennessee.

My Bernie friends are all lamenting the multitude of Boomers that are still voting. They haven't said they're rooting for the coronavirus yet and it's propensity to hit the elderly, but that may only be because they realize how old Bernie is too.

Rehoboth has no inhabited piers. Just a bunch of crumbling jetties.

Tin foil hat alert...

The only reason for Warren to remain in the race is to pound the last few nails in the Sanders coffin.

I was going to vote for Bloomberg a few weeks ago. I voted for Biden yesterday. I never considered Bernie.....ever. The DNC had nothing to do with my vote.

Bernie can go pound sand. I bet he pulls the same thing he did with Hillary and tells Biden to "earn" his supporters votes.  He will most likely be responsible for not 1.....but 2 terms of Trump which is deliciously ironic.

He'd probably build it in Wilmington.

As NCC already has the UD library, it would make more sense to build it in Slower Delaware. I suggest putting it right on the beach. Build it up on the bluff at Herring Point in CHSP. That would be picturesque as hell.

They already have the Biden Environmental Training Center about a quarter mile north.

Maybe Claymont, which is close enough to the PA state line that he jumps across two or three times a week. At least rhetorically.

I'm trying to put it somewhere nice. I.e. well below the canal.

It could be multi-purpose -

Beach chair rentals, sunglass shop, showers, restrooms and books.

CHSP is very nice...I’m sure his old buddies in Dover will give him an easement.
