The Unions have ruined what little reputation they had. South Carolina workers don't need some organization taking part of their salary and for what? Safe conditions that already exist? Labor laws that are already enforced? Good pay with benefits? These Union pricks have been harassing people at their homes, trying to get them to vote. They've been following people, verbally assaulting anyone that refuses to sign cards and other nonsense.
OK, you keep making excuses for Trump. Just wait and see and I will see if you have the balls to keep supporting him. And for the South Carolina thing, I could give a damn about Unions. I never have liked them. Unions are just as bad as big corporations if you ask me.
Do you even know what the fuck you are talking about? YOU QUOTED A POST ABOUT UNIONS LOSING AND I RESPONDED TO THAT! And if you'd open your fucking eyes and brain and read you'd see that I do not support Trump. I didn't vote for him. I wouldn't vote for him. I make no excuses for him. He's President and I hope he succeeds and that's where I stop.

Goddamn, for someone with a education, you sure as shit don't use it. At least not on here. Reading Comprehension is so important.

Oh, and I'd like to see your apology for pegging me as a Trump supporter based on nothing. That sort of bigotry is unacceptable if you want to maintain the high ground. :thumb:

I thought the press conference yesterday was gold, absolute gold. The liberal mainstream media has whined about not getting to ask questions, well they got their chance yesterday and got more than they expected.

People not wanting the President to be successful? So you want your own country to fail? Leave then biotch.

It was racist then, but calling this president a walking Cheeto and wishing bad things on him is apparently just fine.

If you even HINT at mentioning support for Trump you're immediately classified as an anti-gay, misogynist, racist, immigrant hating, gun toting, pickup driving redneck. Just because I thought he was a preferable option to Clinton doesn't mean that I hang on every word he says and support every decision. Some of his executive actions are no surprise as they are exactly what he said he would do, others have me scratching my head a bit. I consider it a success if I can agree with 50.5% of a president's stances. 8-)

It's too bad the last administration got the ball rolling with dividing America into an even greater number of distinct, intolerant classes. Once upon a time you could have a conversation or difference of opinion without it leading to name calling but those days are in the rear view now. Trump certainly isn't quelling any of that divisiveness, but he wasn't the one that started it. :twocents:

I think one big difference between now and 2009 is that people disliked Obama because of his policies and ideas. I think right now a lot of people, republicans included, just think Trump is fucking nuts.

He might well be crazy, but you have to give him credit that he's doing exactly what he said he'd do on the campaign trail for better or worse. The other difference between now and '09 is the perception that if you disagreed with BHO's policies it wasn't because you had a different opinion, it was because he was black. :coffee:

Yeah, to some extent I agree. There have always been racial and economic divides, but the increased division of LGBTQ/straight, black/white, native born/foreign born, wealthy/poor, etc. were really exacerbated in the last several years IMO. I blame the stance of the president and Holder in taking sides as well as the prevalence of media in general as well as the alt-left and alt-right folks fanning the flames along with the internet.

Another thing about Trump: he leverages everything. I mean saddles it with humongous debt. That's how he ran his businesses, and it landed him in bankruptcy four times.

Fast forward to 2017. Trump won't cut spending and proposes a mega-project to improve "infrastructure." He wants to build a huge wall. He won't touch entitlement spending. He claims he can find billions in "fraud and waste" to pay for it. Where have we heard this song before? :jack:

Answer: Trump is just another back-room pol. He's just not as good at it as most other POTUS candidates we've had since forever.

Jeez, maybe I'll switch my registration to Libertarian after all, despite my experience at the local LP meeting with the post-pubescent kids living in their mommies' basements and the loudmouthed women with questionable hygiene.

Just because I still loathe the Republican Party and you would have voted for Hillary if she had a "R" behind her name doesn't mean you have to recklessly fly off the handle like that...jeez!
