Bring in some attack helicopters with night vision capabilities and start thinning the herd.

Great way to keep our armed forces sharp...and we save a lot of money doing it locally instead of sending our boys overseas to kill foreign vermin.

MSM has had a blackout for the past three hours.

This reminds me of Katrina. Scope of destruction wasn't known for days...

I was flipping back and forth between Fox News and MSNBC. Talk about a complete 180^ in reporting. The Fox reporter on the ground was yelling at his camera man to get back and seek cover from gunshots. MSNBC was describing a ghost town.

Why at night

Yeah, that is one screwed up jurisdiction that releases their grand jury decisions at 8 PM at night...
Releasing it at night was the right choice. They had to give the businesses a chance to close and let their employees cleanup and go home before the crowds got too big. Couldn't wait until morning because the jurors are permitted to talk immediately after their release. No way to keep the decision a secret any longer than they did.

Is that some sort of Missouri thang?

Judges can clawback over generations. Unless the assets go overseas, everything is fair game.
What was stated on TV  , was that since the assets are co-owned (now that he is married), they are not at risk to a civil ruling. Had he remained single, all assets are at risk. Reports were that his fiance' was pregnant. You could probably point to a dozen reasons for the timing of his marriage, but the civil suit was what was mentioned. Not sure if that is a Missouri thing or not.

This is not completely true. They may or may not know be able to say whether there is an indictment or not (am not sure) [At least in Missouri, and I believe in other jurisdictions], it is a misdemeanor to speak about what went on with the grand jury. The Prosecutor needed special permission from the judge to release and speak about what he did.

In that way, a grand jury is very different than a regular jury

Yeah, I'm not sure. Some legal "analyst" on one of the stations discussed this. They were wondering why it was taking so long to release the info. As I stated earlier, they wanted to ensure the businesses had a chance to close and get their employees home. But that they feared a leak of information if they waited any longer.

Why are we endangering our police officers?

Isn't there some moderate Muslin group that we can arm and use as a proxy in this war? :suspicious:

I agree, however, Prince gave a concert and gave all of the MONEY to non profits in Chicago. However, this does not get any news coverage. In my City (Atlanta), my fraternity has started a mentoring program from boys 4-13. Studies show that this should start before 13 when most boys get into real trouble.
