Man's role in climate change is probably small, but i think most reasonable people can agree that our short years of industrialization has had some effect - regardless of how much or little.
I think we're also dealing with a natural shift in the climate that we can't combat.
Then why turn the world upside down? We need to just learn to live in the world that's being created. If that means moving inland then so be it. Somebody is buying up property 15-30 miles inland in every state and will be rich if this doomsday scenario comes to pass...

The world that's being created, that we've had a hand in creating, doesn't need to be as severe.

What, you guys don't remember Snoop's "Pimp my Trike?" album?

The sad thing is the young people she's pandering to won't catch on to that.

Next she's going to talk about how she ran Geraldine Ferraro's social media outreach.

51 Percent of Democratic Primary Voters Prefer Elderly White Men Who Aren’t Declared Candidates
Despite the declared 2020 Democratic presidential field being the most diverse and female in history, more than half of primary voters in a new poll prefer two elderly white men who aren't officially in the race.

A Morning Consult poll showed former Vice President Joe Biden with 29 percent support among Democratic primary voters and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I., Vt.) next with 22 percent. Rounding out the top five were Sen. Kamala Harris (D., Calif.) at 13 percent, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) at 8 percent, and former Rep. Beto O'Rourke (D., Texas) at 7 percent.

Which isn't even close to what I said. If there's climate change happening with or without us, we're gonna have to learn to live with it. We're good, but we're not THAT good that we can change world history.

The sad thing is the young people she's pandering to won't catch on to that.

Next she's going to talk about how she ran Geraldine Ferraro's social media outreach.
That’s not her real problem here

She smoked pot and then went on to prosecute people for the same

She’s catching some blue-on-blue fire over that one... purity movements, etc etc

I also like how she was asked about her white husband. I presume because miscegenation dilutes black blood

I'd say the answer is "yes." I'd say that most generations of our species have not worried about that.

IMO most of the Dem candidates are making a mistake in their approach. I can't be the only one that thinks most of the ones who have declared are just plain old angry people. Everyone accuses Trump of stoking fear and anger... why would you take the same approach against him? Where he is vulnerable is reason, common sense, compassion.... The only ones who don't seem angry so far are Beto (too much a dud to show any emotion) and Klobuchar (are Minnesota women allowed to be angry?)... am I wrong on this?

I think he's a dud because he couldn't do everyone a favor and beat Cruz.

Cruz just moved up a notch in my book, simply by proposing a bill that limits senators to 2 terms.

I honestly don't get his appeal. I've seen a couple speeches where he tried to be angry or impassioned, but he comes across as a dullard IMO. Just because you use "fuck" a lot doesn't mean you are impassioned. He's like a younger Dukakis.

But what about the rest of them?

I think you're right. It's feigned outrage and that doesn't sell very well to the center. Independents know they're still politicians. It's like Hillary pretending to be populist and for the little guy.

The potential is there but I expect it to underperform entertainment-wise because of the shade cast by Putin and Trump.
