Not sure about that. He’s now listed on the Wachtell Lipton website as “counsel.” He used to be a full partner in that high-powered firm. He’s a bit young for that title, which is usually reserved for older lawyers who are dialing it back, unless (a) his productivity has really tapered off, or (b) the partners want to start easing him out the door for another reason.

I watched the Today Show this morning and kudos to them - they are doing a multi-part expose on China’s reeducation camps and surveillance state tactics. They pull a few punches but overall a pretty good job.

Great article. My BIL was a 20+ year Boeing engineer, including through the MD merger period. He's bitched to me over the years about the exact things brought up in that article, and he couldn't WAIT until he could retire....that company is floundering. Wouldn't surprise me to see it merged away as well.

Great article. My BIL was a 20+ year Boeing engineer, including through the MD merger period. He's bitched to me over the years about the exact things brought up in that article, and he couldn't WAIT until he could retire....that company is floundering. Wouldn't surprise me to see it merged away as well.

I can't comment on the change in culture as I wasn't employee then, but I feel it's a pretty good place to work. For example, my current job wasn't what it was supposed to be, so I did my year and am now switching to a different role. Benefits still good and they have paid for all of my extra schooling. Work hours are usually negotiable (4x10 and start times).

A woman was attacked and killed by a group of feral hogs Sunday morning outside the southeastern Texas home where she worked as a caretaker, authorities said.

Chambers County Sheriff Brian Hawthorne said in a press conference Monday that Christine Rollins, 59, arrived around 6 or 6:30 a.m. when she was attacked at the Anahuac home, 40 miles east of Houston.

The 84-year-old woman who has been under her care for almost two years went outside and found Rollins in the front yard between her car and the front door, Hawthorne told reporters.

The sheriff said Rollins had a severe head wound and several other injuries consistent with different size bites, indicating multiple animals were involved.
