Defund the Police....departments across the country feel unappreciated and overworked....Dem run cities cut funding or vow to disband departments altogether....forces cut 30%, 40%, 50%....remaining cops are overworked, with vacation and PTO cancelled....response times to crimes skyrocket....murder rates skyrocket in blue cities.....MORE cops quit due to horrible working conditions....city governments (who apparently never saw this coming) reverse course and start offering sign on bonuses, significantly increased pay....because now there's a catastrophic law enforcement officer crisis.

Just two recent examples of government intervention actually CREATING crises.

If there's not a continual emergency, how can they implement "emergency powers"?

As you have some of these same hospital systems, who fired workers who didn’t get stuck, making no allowance for natural immunity, who are now short staffed amd swamped, now telling Covid positive, symtomatic health care workers to come to work. Only in America..

The excuse you used was the one the White House tried also. Along with “its transitory.” When the White House is trying to spin the worst inflation in 40 years it means one of two things- they arent taking it seriously, or they don’t know what to do. They may have fooled you, but most voters know what it means when the White House is blowing it off rather than fronting solutions.
