I heard on the radio that Montgomery County actually did shut down schools on that dusting we had two Tuesdays ago. Hilarious.

Road chems and salts are for pussified regions of the country.

Strange. When I'm on YouTube looking at funny videos of cars sliding on icy roads, they almost all have license plates from flyover states.

BTW, for the win...

1). We actually have hills.

2). Those were obviously EC(b) or Seattle area transplants.

Bummer. Water tank started leaking just before we were to go over to Montana for Christmas. I'll replace it tomorrow. I've got a t shirt acting as a dam and am wringing it out every hour.

The trip was doomed from the start of the day. Oldest son's eye is swollen shut from a stye, the youngest has diarrhea and then the water heater.

That's a bummer. Gas or electric water heater? If it's electric I'd suggest one of these. They're expensive but lifetime guarantee never to leak.

In other news. Started our Autistic son on Ritalin today. I'm not thrilled having to put him on drugs, but when the Psychiatrist says, "your son has autism and ADHD in spades", you try to find something that will help him.

So far, so good, but it is just an initial dose.

And like that, it's taken a bad turn. He's really struggling. Good thing it will be out of his system in a couple hours.

Best of luck to you and your family.

Sometimes they can dial in the doses as everyone reacts differently.

We have had very good experience with ours. Sometimes the local REA will run discounts on them if you put them on off-peak.

My local muni utility sells that at a huge discount for that as well. I got an 85 gallon for $300.

I don’t have the same chicken little reaction to this that the HotAir author does.

Get our nukes out, get our planes and people out.

Let Germany and France worry about it. Pulling out should please their Greens and Social Dems.

Then we can talk about leaving the Korean peninsula too
