Lt. Brian Rice, highest-ranked officer in Freddie Gray case, cleared by police disciplinary board

BALTIMORE (AP) — A police disciplinary board has cleared the highest-ranking Baltimore officer involved in the arrest of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man whose death in custody sparked the city’s worst riots in decades.
The three-member panel found Lt. Brian Rice not guilty on all administrative charges on Friday. Rice was shift commander the day in April 2015 when Gray was left shackled and handcuffed, but without a seatbelt, inside the metal compartment of a police van where he suffered a fatal spinal injury on the way to the station.
Rice, who was acquitted in a criminal trial last year, was visibly relieved, and embraced his lawyers after the panel’s ruling. He will get to keep his job

BALTIMORE (WBFF)– Federal agencies continue to scour a West Baltimore neighborhood, two days after a City Homicide Detective was shot.

Detective Sean Suiter was shot Wednesday afternoon after approaching a man in an alley. Suiter was on scene investigating a previous homicide.

Police say after Suiter approached the man, he was shot in the head.

The cop was black too. Days after a guy was shot dead after walking out of a R-Far for no good reason. Fuckers aren't just killing each other anymore, turning to random targets now.

Latest thing here in Baltimore, kids carjacking teachers in school parking lots. At least 4 in the last week or so. All suspects are black girls. If you read the Sun articles comments, all refer to the white guy shooting up the waffle house not getting play in the media, but these carjackings being over reported and racist. JFC.
