as for anyone being your bitch, I think it's pretty obvious that the only bitch you have is your right hand, and her name is Rosey Palmer. How does the chaffing AFFECT you?

If you know you are right why do you resort to insults and slurs?

Because the argument is over. We are done, and it's better than "I'm right", "no I'm right", "no I'm right"............

If the argument is over, why continue?

No chaffing EFFECT on brass, oboe. :coffee:

But back to your weakness with the English language - "effect" has only one meaning as a verb, and that is the one you misused. You are dismissed. :tothehand:

This is the exception where "effect' is correct to use as a verb.
For example. "The politician hoped that his candidacy would effect change in the political discourse."

Look it up,and learn, tool.
Negative, Opossum, incorrect usage on your part. Your sentence clearly calls for "affect". One would effect integrity, whereas one would affect the integrity. :coffee:

Or to use your example - one would not say the politician hoped his candidacy would effect the change in the political discourse. Either way you are wrong. :coffee:
Houndawg speaks the truth. Opie, Aunt Bea taught you wrong, son.

Opie, your usage of the word "effect" in that particular sentence was not correct. Houndawg is correct in saying that the proper word in that instance would have been "affect".

Don't get so upset about it man. You went to GSU and you're playing with 49 cards. You have disadvantages but there's no reason to not be proud of it.
