Not everyone is a partisan. As an American I would like to know what happened in Libya. Fix the problem so that it doesn't happen again and if that means getting rid of people becasue they are negligent/incompetent/criminal then so be it.

But I'm not going to trust one source, expecially when everyone knows that source is heavily biased.
You shouldn't trust one source, but if you open your eyes there are several. I agree not everyone is a partisan, as a registered Democrat supporting Romney, certainly I am not.

Fox News has learned that there were two military surveillance drones redirected to Benghazi shortly after the attack on the Consulate began. They were already in the vicinity. The second surveillance craft was sent to relieve the first drone, perhaps due to fuel issues. Both were capable of sending real time visuals back to US officials in Washington, D.C. Any U.S. official or agency with the proper clearance, including the White House Situation Room, State Department, CIA, Pentagon and others, could call up that video in real time on their computers.
Honest questions:

It seems like Fox News really has an insider that was privy to everything that was going on that night including the info on drone missions that were being run. Or was this info released during Pentagon briefings?

How does the reporter know the video's weren't called up?

Who gave the order to "stand down"?

Was this a an issue that is normally handled in a situation room by the Sec Def, CIA Chief, or President? Or would it normally be handled by the military?
Kalm- because the info is being leaked to the media by people who are determined to not fall on their swords. I guarantee you it is not just being leaked to Fox, either.

BHO could have been a hero right before the election if he had given the go ahead to save our citizens.

He listens to Valerie Jarrett too much...she is always thinking about how it could effect the election.
She also said don't go after Osama

BHO is a political coward and a decision to help damn the consequences could have won him the election.

Instead he went to bed and flew off to a fund raiser in Vegas the next morning.

Obama On Benghazi... I mean Hurricane Sandy: “We Leave Nobody Behind”…

Unless of course they are under siege from al-Qaeda gunmen.

Via BreitbartTV:

Speaking at a photo opportunity at the American Red Cross on Tuesday, President Obama stated that in America, “we leave nobody behind.” This remark is seen as clumsy and perhaps insensitive considering the revelations that requests to assist two Navy SEALs trapped on the roof of the American consulate in Benghazi were denied, thus abandoning the heroic Americans to die at the hands of Al Qaeda.

One of the consequences should not be having your Commander In Chief leave you to die, so he can get a good night's sleep before jetting off to a fundraiser.

The source comes from Fox so yeah, it's kind of questionable and bordering less on facts at this point. Plus, the stormicane coverage nocked it to the back burner. If it has legs, the Republicans will call for investigations, and the facts will come out.

Carry on.
I was in college during Watergate. My roommate subscribed to the Washington Post and NY Times whom made Watergate sound like NBD for a long time. I subscribed to the Richmond Times-Dispatch which made Watergate out to be a BFD and wrote extensively about it. The RTD was discredited because supposedly NYT and WP were so much more creditable and the RTD editor, James J. Kilpatrick had a known conservative political agenda.

Eventually the administration couldn't keep their criminal activities covered up and the liberal media had to cover this. The irony is that the WP got credit for breaking a story they initially ignored, but only after the guilty incumbent was re-elected and the country wasted two years and a ton of time and energy on what should have been taken care of at the ballot box.

It would be better to handle this at the ballot box Tuesday and not waste two years on it.
Guilty until proven innocent?

E-mails obtained by CNN made clear that less than 30 minutes after the attack began, the State Department notified officials within the agency, the White House, the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Pentagon and the FBI that an attack was underway and that Stevens was in the compound.

And just two hours later, one of the e-mails indicated the Libyan extremist group Ansar al Sharia was claiming responsibility for the attack on social media websites. "Embassy Tripoli reports the group claimed responsibility on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli," the e-mail said.
http://www.cnn.com/2012/11/01/opinion/b ... =allsearch" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
On Friday, President Obama was asked directly by Denver's KUSA-TV's Kyle Clarke whether our forces were denied backup during the attack. The president dodged the first question. Clark followed up, "Were they denied requests for help during the attack?"

"Well, we are finding out exactly what happened," the president responded. "I can tell you, as I've said over the last couple of months since this happened, the minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to."

This is different from what the president said in his Rose Garden speech on September 12, when he mentioned nothing about securing personnel the evening of the attack, or what he said to "The View" or Univision in the weeks after the attack.
Shortly after the fighting started in Benghazi, the embassy in Tripoli (400 miles away) sent its own separate aid, dispatching an aircraft carrying 22 men. They didn't arrive in Benghazi until hours into the battle and were not nearly as qualified or as equipped as the Special Forces standing by in Europe.

The battle raged for seven hours, resulting in the death of four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. It finally ended at dawn the next day when Libyan militia forces showed up to aid the Americans.

Asked to explain the inaction on the part of the Pentagon, Panetta said, "The basic principle is you don't deploy forces into harm's way without knowing what's going on, without having some real-time information about what's taking place."

Contrary to Panetta's claim, we know with certainty that there was real-time information coming into Washington and the Pentagon during the attack. We are therefore left with two conflicting explanation's for the administration's inaction -- either the president's directive to secure our personnel wasn't heeded, or he didn't exactly give such a directive.
This one is from Fox news :roll: but the classified cable is legitimate...you just won't see other MSM sources comment on it:

http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/on-the-re ... ma-?page=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
You've got this emergency meeting in Benghazi less than a month before the attack. At that briefing, the people are told that there are 10 -- 10 -- Islamist militias and al Qaeda groups in Benghazi.

The consulate cannot sustain a coordinated attack and that they need extra help. And this information goes directly to the office of the secretary of state, Hillary Clinton. So again, you're got the culpability of the State Department. This is a very specific warning that they are in trouble, they need help and they see an attack on the horizon.

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, what's the date on this cable?

HERRIDGE: It's the 16th of August.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/30/world ... 1tNNp9Cq4Q" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
By June, Benghazi had experienced a string of assassinations as well as attacks on the Red Cross and a British envoy’s motorcade. Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens, who was killed in the September attack, e-mailed his superiors in Washington in August alerting them to “a security vacuum” in the city. A week before Mr. Stevens died, the American Embassy warned that Libyan officials had declared a “state of maximum alert” in Benghazi after a car bombing and thwarted bank robbery.
http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/30/world ... 1tNNp9Cq4Q" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Much of the security depended on maintaining a low profile. When venturing into town, the Americans drove a Toyota Land Cruiser, from which they removed the diplomatic plates and which they intentionally did not wash. At one point, Mr. Nordstrom, the regional security officer, proposed establishing guard towers, but the State Department rejected that on the grounds that it would make the compound more conspicuous.

There was no doubt, however, that there were many in Benghazi who knew the compound’s location. On June 6, a bomb was planted near the American Mission’s outer wall, blowing out a 12-foot-wide hole. No one was injured.
On June 11, the lead vehicle of the British ambassador’s convoy was hit by an armor-piercing rocket-propelled grenade, wounding a British medic and driver. The British envoy left Benghazi the next day, and the British post in the city was closed on June 17.

About the same time, the Red Cross in the city pulled out after it was attacked a second time. “When that occurred, it was apparent to me that we were the last flag flying in Benghazi; we were the last thing on their target list to remove,” said Lt. Col. Andrew Wood, the head of the military security team in Tripoli.

http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/30/world ... 1tNNp9Cq4Q" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Looking back, Mr. Nordstrom told a House hearing last month that a major question was the inability of the administration to react to the worsening environment on the ground.

“I was extremely pleased with the planning to get us into Libya,” Mr. Nordstrom said. But after the initial security teams began rotating out of Libya months later, he said, “there was a complete and total absence of planning.”
I could go on and on, but you get the idea. Google is your friend. :coffee:

CNN is lying...as are any news outlets that say Obama did anything wrong.

The e-mails CNN used were also fabricated by Assange from his hideout in London.

We will find out shortly that our Ambassador didn't really get killed...it was an elaborate plot by Obama Ben Ghazi to flush out naysayers in the name of freedom and equality. Stevens will be on CS.com shortly to thank Obama's blind minions for their unwavering support.

Everyone can go back to their zombie-like trance in which they will settle for 4 more years of extraordinary ignorance and typical governing for the wealthy lobbyists and Presidential insiders...simply because lemmings don't want change. :dunce:
