Feels about right. If everyone is close to shut down at this point, then the peak should be in 2-3 weeks from now, so by the end of April we should be on the other side of this. Of course, what's missing is what we do then - how do we get everyone safely back out of their houses again and back to work? Time's a ticking on getting testing on demand that will be needed to know who can be out and who shouldn't be out.
The big question has always been what do we do in the long term without a vaccine.
Mass testing- just starting (as in several hundred k a day).
Mass antibody testing- 1st was approved by the FDA couple days ago.
Proven Therapeutics- (numerous patient trials going on right now, the most media coverage being hydroxychloroquine with Z Paks, and remsedivir).
No nationwide one size fits all. Depending on the states:
-Throughout May rolling rescinding stay at home and some business closures.
-Throughout June-July rolling rescinding of the ban on crowds (restaurants, bars, stadiums, arenas, theaters, beaches, amusement parks, festivals, large weddings, funerals, etc).
-Keep in place hand washing, physical distancing through Aug..
