Naw, I don't agree. Ryan at least tries.

He is correct about Bill Clinton getting two chances to wax OBL and passing on the opportunity. Once in Sudan by the Sudanese government trying to curry favor, and another time with a CIA operative on a Satellite phone who had OBL's tent in Afghanistan dead to rights.
Well Bush actually caught bin Laden but let him go because Haliburton told him to. That's right - Bush reintroduced bin Laden to the wild in order to maximize Haliburton profits. Bush also gave bin Laden a new kidney.

Now you're just posting outrageous stuff. We all know Bush was not a match; Rove donated that kidney.

Naaaw! Everybody knows Carl Rove wouldn't donate a kidney! He got it on the black market from the Chinese! (They had to get a dozen to make sure they could get a match!)

I'm noticing a disturbing trend with our Beehive State posters. Fairly small sample size, but a trend nonetheless. To put it nicely, at least a couple of 'em just don't seem to be wrapped right. Ya know, native, while I understand your desire to defend Ryan...all you do is lower your legitimacy by blindly defending him even when you know he's wrong...

Let's get a few things straight between us...I vote against Obama and believe his economic policies are short-sighted and will ruin the country in the long run...

I know (because of my background in the military) that Bush and his Iraq policy has greatly weakened our military...he was arrogant, accepting the advise of Rumsfield over his military experts and thus cost us thousands of lives by severely undermanning the occupation forces to the point of ridiculing a great warrior in Gen. Eric Shinseki when he correctly predicted we would need 250 - 300K occupation forces...

So now comes Ryan spewing his incorrect information about Obama wanting to pull out of Afghanistan as we are building up troops there...and you defend him saying "he tries"...

Come on, man... putting out totally false information is not trying...get real...

I always thought it was the guy that monitored the button to push for launching the nuclear weapons. What if that guy fell asleep and his head smacked through the little glass box and pushed the button? What if he spilled his coffee on the computer terminal and it malfunctioned and launched all the nukes?

(note to T-Man: I know that is not how it is done, so you don't need to explain in detail how one country launches nuclear weapons)

C'mon, be serious.

Correct...

All launch commands are first directed through a responsible central authority for verification...

Pretty sad and uninformed, I say.

We hold our American leaders to unattainable standards of perfection, demonize our own leaders and history, and turn a blind eye to true evil and ignore real dangers to peace, liberty and prosperity.

Bush sucked, but he was not the enemy of the world.

I can agree with the bolded statement.....however, I feel Bush and his policies placed our country in more danger than Saddam could ever if for no other reason than proximity....our military is weaker due to his blind support of Rumsfeld....spending billions on an unnecessary war certainly hasn't benefitted this country's financial health (not all his fault, but his policies did little to strengthen us)....seriously, what did Saddam ever do that was that dangerous? to American citizens I mean, not Iraqis?....I don't give two shits about Iraqis who couldn't ever muster the initiative to overthrow their own tyrant....

That's what they are advertising when they run for office.....one of the most effective ways to campaign is destroying the other guy's character while portraying your background pure as the driven snow....
