You are all **** in the head and through your affiliation with the republican party you support discrimination against gays, racism, the plundering of brown-skinned people across the globe and the worship of money over concern for the welfare of humanity.

Thank god Obama put a lid you worthless ****. You all are a bunch of clowns and crybabies.
I guess that is why Obama has done away with Don't ask don't tell and fought so hard on the defense of marriage act.

Thanks for lumping us all together. I know it is hard to believe but there are more issues than gay marriage.

If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Unfortunately, that statement is true of most states at least when speaking of statewide elections. South Carolina is not any different from other states ( at least 98% of them) on that statement.

I'll go along with that... (generally speaking)
There are a few states where I don't think it would be such a big deal (very few states) but in some states it's actually dangerous to your health to be known to be gay... In some states a persons life would be threatened for being a gay politician

 would you agree..?

Citdog lives here so hell yeah

I think in all states it depends on where you are. Greenville which you have been to although you haven't spent alot of time downtown has open gay community ( certainly they don't run for election but once again other than extraordinarily liberal districst in generally liberal states, most don't).

No reason to get your skirt all bunched up...
Some folks have generalized - some folks have not

One thing that I generalized about and stand behind is:

I do disagree. Lindsey Graham's orientation is pretty much common knowledge in SC. Even the Bubbas are fairly sure about him.

Have you guys heard the rumor that Sanford is behind his "outing"? Thinking that if he's out as a gay man, he can't be elected Gov'na.
Turns out I might be a little gay. 89Hen 11/7/17

I heard that but I the thinking isn't that he can't be elected governor. The thinking is that the calls for Sanford's resignation will stop because Bauer would take over as governor. I don't necessarily believe it, but at this point I don't necessarily not believe it either.
