Boy,klean's been tripping on his dick more than usual lately. He's judging people on the color of their skin, doesn't think Asian-Americans are minorities and doesn't know to look up DJTs college before saying he wasn't Ivy League.
Btw, klean, Ronald Reagan was the last POTUS who wasn't from the Ivy League.

What he really meant to compare was that Michelle Hippodome Obama had the advantage of an affirmative action based formal education, and still couldn't manage to get past her ugliness and bitter and hopeless attitude towards America so that she could marry up.

Rep. Adriano Espaillat wants to join the Congressional Black Caucus. The question for the group's members is whether he qualifies as African-American.
So far, the answer is no.

Another thing we can lay the blame for at the feet of the now retired Senator, Harry Reid. Getting rid of the filibuster for everything but SCOTUS means that the majority party in the Senate is the only thing required to approve cabinet posts and, in this case, with the President being the same party as the Senate majority, means that the minority party is shut out. So they could try to get involved and be a part of it or, as they've done here, they can use it as a way to just try to score as many political talking points and memes as possible. With that said, though, I'm not terribly opposed to just majority vote for everything anymore in the Senate. It's clearly going that way and to pretend that people are going to be civil to each other just flies in the face of modern politics.Ivytalk wrote:Kirsten Gillibrand is a b*tch. Re: President Trump's Cabinet
I think Warren was being a little cowardly herself - just speak your own mind, why drag up a letter from more than 3 decades ago? Heck, the letter than really started getting her into trouble wasn't the King letter, it was the letter she read from the late Teddy Kennedy that had the more direct insults of Sessions. She got the first warning when she was reading that letter, but it doesn't make as great of a headline as her getting shut down for reading the King letter. And frankly, the GOP was no better - why even get that upset over something said in the middle of the night when really no one was watching? No one ever accused politicians of being intelligent.kalm wrote:Yeah...next thing ya know they'll be coming at each other with knives and excerpts from Corretta Scott King speeches...GannonFan wrote:
