Re: 2020 General Election
It has zero to do with whether I agree with it. Its not that's its not more widely published. It not's published anywhere, period, which means its probably Fake News.

Well at least you can say that, in your case, it’s a protest vote between a joke and a dick. Not like you have any deep philosophical commitment to libertarianism.

Re: 2020 General Election
If the whole election came down to just one vote - my vote - I would still vote Libertarian. My political beliefs are most closely reflected in the Libertarian Party’s platform. Why would I not cast my vote for them?

I’m not committed one way or another with respect to any political idealogy. There’s a lot in the Libertarian platform that I agree with - more than what it’s the Rep or Dem platforms.Ivytalk wrote:Well at least you can say that, in your case, it’s a protest vote between a joke and a dick. I also try to be a realist - my vote isn’t goin my to flip SC purple or blue. But maybe my vote can help a 3rd party gain some ground.
That and The fact that Biden and Trump are awful, no good, terribly bad candidates.

Re: 2020 General Election
That's pretty much my sentiment. When I voted for the Stoner the last presidential election, I did not because I thought the Stoner would be a good president but because his general philosophy fit mine. I also knew that SC would vote Trump. and I personally thought both candidates from major parties sucked.Ibanez wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 5:47 pmI’m not committed one way or another with respect to any political idealogy. Same this year. Both Candidates from the major parties suck. I will Vote for Jorgensen just simply to say let's move in that direction. Even though she teaches at Clempson

Re: 2020 General Election
What if i told you Biden won’t be president on 6/1/21 even if he wins the election? Would his VP pick (soon to be President if Biden wins) change your mind?

I’m saying If you’re voting for Biden you’re not really voting for Biden....better really like his VP pick....who is required to be a black female.

I'm voting for Jo.
I'm hoping Joe picks Duckworth or someone similar but I'm not holding my breath.

Is his VP choice going to be a libertarian? Then maybe.AZGrizFan wrote:What if i told you Biden won’t be president on 6/1/21 even if he wins the election? Would his VP pick (soon to be President if Biden wins) change your mind?
But while he’s in office the country will be run by Jill Biden, the WH Chief of Staff, and the NSA. And there will be at least a year after Biden loses all functional ability that we will be told he’s fine, etc etc.
So maybe no under any circumstance.

Duckworth would be a trifecta - Female, disabled and combat vet. If she were a lesbian or a he-she...even better.

The folks that are actually misogynists will have a field day with this one. Only way a woman can get elected is if a man wins it for them and they get it in a divorce.
