What goes to show? THAT is what you got from my post?
I got that from watching politics since I was in High school. The Democrats aren't any better. We don't care about the quality of candidates and our elected leaders. Yet we want them to be better than they are.
I care, but ultimately I was given two shitty choices and I chose to less of two weevils, IMHO. What else are we as individuals to do?

Why would Trump suddenly change his spots???

“Be the bigger man…” That IS hilarious.
It goes to show that Republicans don't care really, as long as they can get the W. They'd elect a rotting fish if it got enough electoral votes.
It goes to show that Democrats don't care really, as long as they can get the W. They'd elect a racist old white man with dementia if it got enough electoral votes.

You can “demand” in one hand, and crap in the other, and see which fills up first.

Politics in America doesn’t draw the creme de la creme. It attracts ambitious mediocrities, for the most part. Successful, smart people generally choose other vocations.

Well then please address your issues to the states that are early primaries/caucuses. Because here in TX it was whittled down before we ever got a shot. :tothehand: :tothehand: :tothehand:

SC didn't have a choice. They decided to not let other Republicans primary Trump. 2020 was Dimwit vs Halfwit.

Been watching some video of Trump supporters going to Trump's last rally. This country really, really needs to find a way to get rid of Trump supporters. They are a serious problem.

I’m sure there are some of the way far left who agree with you wholeheartedly. They did it in China and Russia so it isn’t like there isn’t precedent

It takes NYC ten days to figure out they have 135,000 in test votes being apportioned through 10 rounds of their ranked choice election. It wasn't election officials that figured it out, but media and a candidate.

I'm way less concerned about the "serious problem" associated with supporters on either end of the spectrum and way MORE concerned that there are idiots like JSO who think the answer to anyone who disagrees with them politically is "to get rid of them". :ohno: :ohno: :ohno: :suspicious: :suspicious:

That's valid. People on both sides are employing Political Purity Tests. Not on board with the Green New Deal? You're not really a Democrat?

Don't agree with Trump? You're a RINO.

Those purity tests and movements, TYPICALLY, implode.

Jeez, what a mess.

I'm in favor of ranked choice. It's good they've figured it out. But this is a stupid, easy mistake. Test ballots should've been deleted after the test. :ohno:

Nothing is perfect, especially the first iteration.

This is the the first time New York has shown the rest of the country how best to fuck something up.

They are also learning that the predicted chicanery around ranked choice actually happens.

Or maybe demanding "political purity" and silencing dissenting voices is a step toward getting rid of them.
