Trump's letter to WHO. Has a timeline of what was going down in China and what the WHO was telling the world about it. Anyone supporting funding WHO after this clearly has their head up their ass.

The Chinavirus is a hoax and is no worse than the seasonal flu.

China minimized the risk posed by the Chinavirus and endangered the World.

As I said to kalmie earlier in this disaster, the media has been absolutely terrible in covering this. The fact that they can't even read the data that is clearly out there on the PA.gov website and report it accurately is just a small nugget of how bad they've been with this. And yes, we've had a disaster in nursing homes throughout the country (again, in one county in PA, 93% of all fatalities are in nursing homes) and it's gotten minimal coverage relative to the magnitude of what's going on. Everything is so Trump focused that nothing rational can even be talked about.

Agreed. It especially has highlighted the sensationalists...yahoo news, huff post, all the cable new networks. There’s some solid reporting out there but the masses gravitate to the shit show.

And the corporate owners follow the viewers. I get it, we have seen the enemy and it is us meme. If folks didn't tune in to the sensationalist news channels we wouldn't have this problem. As kalmie said, there are more sane news outlets out there, it's just hard to find them in the cacophony of the crappy ones.

Hmmm. Wonder if this a thing and where else it’s happening....

“TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (CBS12) — As Florida starts to reopen, the architect and manager of Florida's COVID-19 dashboard, announced she'd been removed from her position, Florida Today reported.

Rebekah Jones said in an email to CBS12 News that her removal was "not voluntary" and that she was removed from her position because she was ordered to censor some data, but refused to "manually change data to drum up support for the plan to reopen”

I'm hoping that NY's Governator is criminally charged for forcing COVID-19 patients to be integrated with the most vulnerable population in nursing facilities. It smacks of a move to eradicate the older population by pathogen and forced exposure to the virus by a despicable political hack.
