In my area, most of the cases during lockdown were businesses and group homes. Meat packing plants really got hit. Plus there really wasn't a wholesale lockdown. When I went to get curb-side pickup for groceries, the parking lot was full. Went to Lowe's and the parking lot was full. I assume most of those people and their relatives were exposed during lockdown. 1/4 of Minnesota's cases are still active after lockdown ended Monday. Not really enough data to compare open vs lockdown yet.

NC moves into Phase 2 of reopening tomorrow. Restaurants at 50% capacity, barbers and hair salons back running, etc. Not sure about tattoo or massage parlors though. Bars, gyms and public playgrounds still closed for five more weeks.

LilCCU's teachers came by the house to had her some gifts, the art and name tag from school, a cap and diploma. We had a mini pre-school graduation ceremony for her.

She's done well in school but since the stay at home order went into effect she has done incredibly well. She went from struggling to read to reading at a 1st grade level. Something clicked in her head in April and she finally was able to put letters and their sounds together. We've gone through multiple levels of reading books. She's shown an interest in math and has been doing well with addition and subtraction. It's truly exciting to see your kid suddenly understand something like reading. I was blown away at how well she did, for her age. Maybe this should've gone into the Shameless Dad Bragging thread.
