I’m not arguing whether we will accept more draconian restrictions. Because of that we’d probably be better off keeping the measures we have in place longer. That probably won’t happen which will also effect the economy.

Thanks and I got that. CID’s one of my favorite posters. He’d made the same point before many times, I appreciate it, and have acknowledged its validity. He’s also a smarmy cunt and sometimes I feel like replying in kind.

There is no absolute freedom or absolute control with us. That’s the challenging and hard part. Like I’ve said a number of times, finding the sweet spot is the tricky part. That doesn’t mean there are times freedom can’t be (Re)obtained via some temporary discipline. The slippery slope is the threat and I truly get that.
