He beat trump in the 2020 presidential election so he's got that going for him. :coffee:
Going for him and him only, or I should say his crime family only

Goldberg: Why the Republicans' impeachment of Biden may be stupid enough to work
During Donald Trump’s first impeachment, McCarthy insisted that a similar unilateral move by then Speaker Nancy Pelosi was illegitimate. Of course, hypocrisy is no hurdle for McCarthy. The real problem is that Trump’s Justice Department penned a memo arguing that the White House didn’t have to comply with subpoenas from an improperly formed impeachment inquiry.
...
McCarthy simply didn’t have the votes for a proper impeachment. But pro-Trump members demanded something. Some sincerely believe Biden was complicit in his son Hunter’s influence peddling schemes. Others want it because Trump wants it — as payback, or to take some of the stigma out of his impeachments, or for 2024 campaign messaging.
...
So, when people say there’s no evidence that Biden was a knowing participant in his son’s shady dealings, what they mean is that there’s no ironclad proof. And there isn’t, at least not yet.

But there is plenty of evidence: testimony from Hunter Biden’s partners, accounts from various whistleblowers, and bank records showing some unusual efforts to park funds in opaque LLCs. Biden’s own falsehoods about having no knowledge of his son’s overseas business dealings — despite giving him rides to foreign meetings on Air Force Two as vice president — are evidence he lied, but not proof he was involved.
Pretty reasonable opinion piece from Goldberg.

Cue the Goldberg is a neocon, never trumper so this piece is sh!t regardless of whether it makes sense arguments.

You don’t see the humor in Hunter possibly beating the gun charge because of a ruling championed by 2A proponents?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I see the humor in the irony of both sides twisting as best they can to get to their desired outcome - the right pushing for a conviction of Hunter based on a gun law they would otherwise be wholly against, and the left pushing for an exoneration of Hunter based on supporting an overturning of a gun law that they would otherwise be fully for.

It's like how the right wants to seek further charges against Hunter for not filing as a foreign agent - they didn't like it when it was done to Manafort and others. But the left, which applauded using that part of the law that hadn't been used much before to get something on Manafort, now decries the use of the same thing for the same behavior by Hunter.

It's amazing how unprincipled each side is depending on who would be impacted.
It isn't amazing at all, its the nature of those who seek political power.

I don't believe that is true - folks can actually seek political power for the purposes of advancing an idea they think is important. I don't believe all politicians are bad and corrupt. We just happen to have way too many politicians seeking political power today than the genuinely good-intentioned ones, but that doesn't mean all politicians are bad as you say.

Yahoo isn’t balanced but there are very few sources that are. They will post pieces from CNN and Fox so they’re better than most. The key is to have a functioning brain stem so you can see through the bullshit and find the interesting or funny pieces. Those without a functioning brain stem typically just believe the bullshit fed to them in extremist echo chambers. You know the kinds that tell us that trump is either a fascist or the victim of a witch hunt.

Anyone who thinks Fox isn’t conservative is an extremist whose brain stem has ceased to function properly.

Congratulations for not mentioning Donald Trump for the first time in a post I’ve read from you

You do have moments of clarity, and I agree with what I bolded…. I’m pretty good at seeing through the bullshit.
Fox News trolls the Trump crowd, no doubt about it

What I don’t like about the media is how lopsided it is to the left, and how they don’t demand answers from Joe Biden or even ask him questions, or on the rare occasion he does try to answer a question they don’t call him out for bold face lie’s he spews

Why is this?

I’d gladly limit/remove union contributions too.

But union bosses representing 11% of the workforce making low 6 figure salaries aren’t exactly destroying functioning capitalism.

Elected officials catering to public employee unions that throw thousands of dollars and put boots on the ground to help these officials get elected/reelected is damaging our republic.

You have a single minded focus on money and miss other insidious elements that infect our government.
