Sounds like Sowell knows that trump is trying help himself ... :coffee:
Sowells quote is directed at Dems I think

Who said everyone should own a house? Obama
Who said everyone should go to college? Obama

I’m paraphrasing of course, but that ideology has been a disaster…. and all for votes
Sowell's quote being directed at Dems is ironic considering it applies to trump and MAQA yahoo Republicans just as much as it does to Dems.

The gullible on both sides don't want to acknowledge they're being lied to.

Both Roosevelt’s were saying the things a century ago. George W. Bush was more recently.

Trump and his monied supporters believe in home ownership too. As in they should own ALL the homes.

Your sense of history is as solid as your views on leadership philosophy.

Perhaps you should set down Sowell for awhile. :)

Nah, I’ll stick with Sowell

I noticed you didn’t mention the truth. That being way too many non qualified borrowers we’re not told the truth about not being able to afford to pay for that home you’re about to take out a mortgage on. The result was a global financial crisis that almost took the whole system down. Thank you Democrats.

Even here you’re wrong. (Though I’m sure you won’t admit it) Blame can be spread around from both parties to construction industry to mortgage lenders to Wall Street to Fannie May.

The problem is rooted in democratic government policies, meddling where they shouldn’t be

FDR

LBJ

Slick Willy

“Soon after, Fannie partnered with President Bill Clinton in what should be the textbook case for why it is so important to keep government officials out of the private sector. Clinton’s 1994 National Partners in Homeownership, a private–public cooperative, arbitrarily set a goal of raising the U.S. homeownership rate from 64 percent to 70 percent by 2000.”

Bush came into it pretty late in the game, The Dems were the root of the problem. It all goes back too politicians on both sides of the aisle have a real problem with telling the truth.

I don’t know, but because you’re asking the question it must be Bill Clinton… slick Willie would be considered a far right MAGA yahoo today 😂

Policy and results wise, Slick Willy was the best President we've had since Reagan who would be considered a wishy washy RINO by today's MAQA yahoos.

It's ironic that the biggest gripe that Republicans had against Clinton in the 90's was behavior/morals and now they go out of their way to defend an even more morally corrupt individual.

Not debatable? Pure fact? Prove it - what has biden been convicted of or accused of and how does it stack up against what trump has been convicted of or accused of?

Wow, Kroger’s profit margin during Covid (and since Biden has been in office) peaked at 2.29%. Hoo boy, that’s some price gouging right there! How dare a company eke out a profit over 0%.. If they were a moral company they would sell their groceries at a loss, because you know, fairness and all.

Yeah that’s why they’re attempting a $25 billion merger with Albertsons right now. They should probably just close the doors.

So trump is responsible for whatever inflation is from 2025-2028 and can't blame it on biden. Good to know. And quoted for posterity.

Why do you even debate the undebatable? These clowns will just spin the proven stats so they can shit on Orange man bad, the Russian agent.

They have no valid argument and you are committing a hate crime on them. It so one sided I don't want to watch but I cant look away.
