"NRA sues Florida over gun bill same day Gov. Scott signed it into law

The National Rifle Association sued in federal court Friday to block a new Florida law, just signed by Gov. Rick Scott, that prohibits gun sales to anyone under 21.

"We filed a lawsuit against the state for violating the constitutional rights of 18- to 21-year-olds," said Marion Hammer, lobbyist for the NRA in Florida. NRA lawyers in Tallahassee and Washington, D.C., were working on the complaint Friday afternoon, and filed the complaint moments before the court's deadline....."

Your first question is why the D-I-L's family is totally against the money pit...they are in farm country and have seen the impacts of the no-water policies of the current party in control (my D-I-L's mom is a Dem who constantly fights with her coastal counterpart on this issue)

The wife's cuz is from a surfer hipster hippie family...they want to be able to cruise up to San Fran for a day at low cost, and the train i their promise of just that...

I think updating I-15 from Las Vegas to SoCal would be a better investment along with expanding regular train service and desalination.
