It's probably something defending/deflecting for trump.
Why would that be shocking?
It wouldn't be.

You said I'd be shocked. I didn't say I believed you.

When I suggested JoBozo pick up the phone and call Putin and try negotiations, Klam said …. No, you don’t negotiate with terrorist…. How many thousands died after that ?

Let’s see what happens but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.
So you are supposed to negotiate terrorists? Roll out the red carpet and fellate them?

Not even close and the world is changed. Besides…they all deserve criticism. That in no way makes Trump right now.

I agree with Trump on something.
It is very hard, if not impossible, to win a war without attacking an invaders country. It’s like a great team in sports that has a fantastic defense, but is not allowed to play offense. There is no chance of winning! It is like that with Ukraine and Russia. Crooked and grossly incompetent Joe Biden would not let Ukraine FIGHT BACK, only DEFEND.
Now, do something about it. :coffee:

Why do you think that doesn't jibe? If the MAGA folks are anything, they are crazy isolationists who don't want anything to do with the rest of the world. And that would include the war profits that come from international involvement. I don't agree with that stance, but certainly many MAGA whackos do.

Until there’s an actual rift instead of just pining about principles they used to have but Trump has ditched, MAGA IS Trump. And Trump is fine with profiting off of the Ukrainian war. Just like he was fine with spending $1 billion to bomb the Houthi’s. For good or bad. :coffee:

So wait. Is the left only okay with supporting Ukraine if the US loses money on the endeavor?

The obsession with big spending on display.

Trump is stuck with decades of poor U.S. policy on Russia and letting Putin run ramshod … one can understand why Vladdy feels enabled and has taken advantage of poor global leadership just not on Trumps watch

But let’s criticize Trump now and call people that support him whackos

Just silly talk about a President the world looks up too right now because of all their failures

Tiny Tim is tip toeing around some facts and ignores a totally different circumstance that we have today with the Ukraine and Russia when compared to WWII

But ok, anything to make his stupid point

He will be begging for negotiations when he gets his draft notice

Vance said if you go back through every major conflict in the history of the world, negotiations are key and that includes World War II

Are you still sticking by your story that you don’t negotiate with Putin?

Only if Putin is willing to negotiate and compromise. Which he is not.

And please explain the negotiations that ended WWII.

One off the top of my head.

Unconditional surrender of Japan, but Hirohito remained the Emperor.

That was negotiated.
