If you have a pilot's license and some portable insurance from AOPA you can go down to your local FBO and rent a Piper single with your credit card.

He might have owned the plane, but without any info to the contrary, I'd say his fiscal problems would have wiped out plane ownership some time ago.

Of course you do, because like him you're a dickhead and fail to realize that IRS employees are just like you - trying to make a living and support their family.

I'm going to try to say this as diplomatically as I can. Let's just say that some people would never work for an agency like the IRS. Some people would look at working for the IRS like they'd look at working for the Schutzstaffel in Germany during the 1930s and early 1940s. Yes, it's working for an institution that is legal within the context of its society. But you have to wonder about somebody who would work for an element of oppression like that. I frankly have a hard time believing any decent person would do it.

I can pretty much guarantee you that there are many millions of people in this country who feel about the same way about the IRS as those last two posters do. The IRS is evil. It's legal. But it as well as the system it represents is evil.

The IRS is not evil. It is a government agency, that follows the laws and codes that the Congress sets.

Unless you believe in total anarchy, and thus, are a total fucking moron, Government needs some source of revenue. That source of revenue, whatever it is, is unpopular with those most affected by it.

I think you would agree that we could go through history and find many, many institutions that were sanctioned by the governments of their time and place, that followed the laws and codes in place, that we would both consider evil. How do you think most people react when they receive a correspondence from the IRS? What do you think the first impulse is. I think that it is at least a tinge of fear. And, to me, that ought to tell you something. I think we ought to ask ourselves if there's something wrong with that...something wrong with a situation in which people who have done no wrong fear an aspect of their government.

Tax law is impossible for most people to follow. Sure, if you just get a paycheck and fill out a 1040 type form using the standard deduction it's easy. But if you are self employed, own a business, etc., you can't do it. You have to hire somebody to do it for you and hope they're right. At least that's the case with most people. Plus I think there is something wrong with having a situation in which every citizen of the country who earns enough to live on has to file a report with the national government every year or else be at risk of imprisonment. I think people like Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin would've been horrified by it.

I'm not saying that people should crash planes into IRS offices. The IRS is legal and it's not a situation the People can't eliminate if sufficient political momentum is built. The situation with the IRS and the income tax is even different than many other changes in that it was authorized properly through Constitutional Amendment rather than Judicial fiat. But it is an entity that operates through intimidation of the People and I think it would be wise of the People to get rid of it.

There are plenty of political boards out there where you can spread hate and advocate the killing of your fellow US citizens. Why don't you take your hateful, backwards ass there? I can get through most of your drivel, but when you start comparing people to the SS and say it's OK to kill them because they work for the federal government, you've taken off your last shred of decent clothing and exposed yourself for the complete kook that you are. Here's hoping you're visiting an IRS office trying to let them know why you tried to break the law and not pay taxes like the rest of us when the next nut job drives his plane into a federal building. If you have such a problem with US law, do us all a favor and move the fuck out of the country.

And yeah, JSO, you didn't directly say you advocate killing IRS employees, but it's pretty clear by reading your description of them how you really feel. Why not just be honest with everyone.

I will give JSO some credit though, most of the Kool-Aid drinkers at the conk Kool-Aid convention that was the political wing on AGS don't have the stones to come over here and debate stuff.
