Refugees are probably all just people trying to get away from all this crap going on there and Paris. It's probably some radicals claiming they are vacation or students that will be the terrorist.

Here are some heart-warming stories about successful Muslim "refugee" assimilation in the United States. Enjoy.

Before any community is forced to take refugees the local citizens should be able to vote by referendum as to whether or not they want to take these refugees into their community..I think most would be a no..

Can we do that with Evangelical Christians, as well?
Can I vote to keep the Palins out of Arizona?

So we are going to pay to get them here, transport them to the appropriate locations, and pay for their food and housing (for how long?). The US dollar is as strong as it has been in many years. I would rather give them the money it would cost us to do the above. The dollar will go a lot farther anywhere else.
Just because the facts don't fit your preconceived ideas doesn't make your ideas right.
you have a very poor source of info
refugees, almost to a person, are not sponsored. The system doesn't work that way.
they are also reflective of the demographics of the society they come from, so unless "professionals" from Country X are being specifically persecuted, the refugee pool is not going to be mostly professionals- from Syria or anywhere else.
I've done refugee work under our immigration rules so I'd be interested to know your source.

Re: Syrian Refugees
What is different about Syrian refugees is that ISIS has said they will use them to infiltrate us and attack us. Do you have a good source to tell us they were just pulling our legs?
Peter King disabused MSNBC this morning of the notion that refugees can be properly vetted, because there is no way to verify what they tell us.
Does the $4.5 billion thePresident says we have sent in humanitarian aid count as compassionate?
David Cameron, with the full weight of the British Intelligence community behind him tells us that these people are not persecuted refugees, but rather economic migrants. Do you have a more creditable source to refute this?
