It sure ain't "most," pomegranate. Anyway, how would the customs authorities know? Its easier to fake a Syrian passport than a Northern Arizona 50-yard-line ticket.
Well fig, a customs official isn't handling refugees, and verification is why it takes 1.5 years

Refugees are probably all just people trying to get away from all this crap going on there and Paris. It's probably some radicals claiming they are vacation or students that will be the terrorist.

So you are saying that these "refugees" won't arrive in the United States for at least another 1.5 years? Sorry Cindy, but they are already here.

"America's 'enemies within': How nearly SEVENTY have been arrested in America over ISIS plots in last 18 months - including refugees who had been given safe haven but 'turned to terror'
-Federal and local law enforcement agencies have made dozens of arrests of men and women suspected of ISIS involvement
-Analysis shows that they include refugees who entered the United States as refugees
-Increasing pressure from Republicans not to accept refugees from Syria on scale demanded by White House
-Ted Cruz plans to introduce legislation forbidding refugee status to Syrian Muslims and moves also under way to defund settling refugees

All the more reason to bar any more refugees! Its not the US's responsibility to take them..

Here are some heart-warming stories about successful Muslim "refugee" assimilation in the United States. Enjoy.

Before any community is forced to take refugees the local citizens should be able to vote by referendum as to whether or not they want to take these refugees into their community..I think most would be a no..

Most of who is coming over here now are professionals. Most have sponsors (Syrian-Americans) that help them get established.

whoa

you have a very poor source of info

refugees, almost to a person, are not sponsored. The system doesn't work that way.

they are also reflective of the demographics of the society they come from, so unless "professionals" from Country X are being specifically persecuted, the refugee pool is not going to be mostly professionals- from Syria or anywhere else.

I've done refugee work under our immigration rules so I'd be interested to know your source.

People here in Arizona that are actually refugees or helping them. Sponsor in the fact that they are helping them navigate America.

What is different about Syrian refugees is that ISIS has said they will use them to infiltrate us and attack us. Do you have a good source to tell us they were just pulling our legs?

Peter King disabused MSNBC this morning of the notion that refugees can be properly vetted, because there is no way to verify what they tell us.

Does the $4.5 billion thePresident says we have sent in humanitarian aid count as compassionate?

David Cameron, with the full weight of the British Intelligence community behind him tells us that these people are not persecuted refugees, but rather economic migrants. Do you have a more creditable source to refute this?
