I was thinking about cultural appropriation today. I believe one argument from minorities is that whites look down on them but then rip off their culture. It could be fashion, music, dancing, whatever. Black people dabbing and **** and people think its dumb. Then white kids so it and every parent puts videos of it on facebook.

So minorities are saying hey if you love our culture so much show us some love too.

I will say that nothing puts me off more than seeing a young White person trying to act Black. Why on Earth would a White person do that? It makes absolutely no sense. They should be proud to be White and be what they are. Like I said: Whites developed the scientific method. A White invented antibiotics. Whites are responsible for what we know as modern medicine. Whites put people on the moon. Whites, for better or worse, discovered nuclear power. Whites developed airplanes. Whites developed the internal combustion issue. Whites developed X Ray technology. Electrical technology. On and on. They also invented most of the stuff people claim Blacks invented during Black history month. Like traffic signals and X Ray machines.

If someone has a patent on it or possesses some form of ownership then I could see the analogy of being ripped off.
However, why people who live a better financial life pay that kind of money to look and dress that poorly is beyond me. It proves that all cultures will under-achieve if given a chance.
And speaking of "all cultures", listening to this person on here about goes on and on about "white pride" proves that all cultures have those who struggle with identity.

The name above all names, the "only" one given for redemption was "changed" from Yeshua.
They changed and paganized the whole message, not good for salvation but sure makes the "kiddies" smile .. lol

Christmas was instituted by a Pagan sun-god worshiping Roman Emperor named Constantine. Both the timing and the intention were based upon the "myth" of the rising sun god of the winter solstice, called by various names in various countries. Nothing about it is based upon the God of the Hebrew Bible nor upon the Messiah of the "New Testament".

Before white musicians appropriated jazz

Long before there was "Christmas" there were holidays celebrating the winter solstice in pretty much every Indo-European culture. Christmas just supplanted those as Christianity spread. The Romans (before they were Christian after Constantine) had Saturnalia which predates Constantine by many hundreds of years, which was then replaced with Christmas around 400 AD. In fact, the setting of December 25th as the birthdate of Jesus was largely to entice pagan celebrants of Saturnalia.

I'm not going to look everything you posted up but you have to be careful about believing stuff like that when you hear it. There's a lot of stuff out there about Blacks inventing stuff and it's either untrue or misleading. When I read what you posted I read one I've checked on before. It's the "modern day gas mask" thing. It's not true at all. Garrett Morgan invented a "safety hood" that was like an inverse snorkel device. It had tubes that hung down so that you could breath air from below smoke or whatever while standing up. It was not a "modern gas mask" at all.

And that's what Ive found when I've looked into that kind of stuff. Almost every time I've checked on the "Black invented X" thing I've found it to be misleading or false.
