So TPP is now a lefty policy? Did anyone tell Bernie?
 :suspicious:

Reread what he said...and read it slowly. Pause...then read it again.

GF used a little nuance, so it might take you a while.
Hmm...you could be right.
NPR has taken their normally left leaning tilt and has gone several more steps to the left. They're almost coming back around the other side as they are now fully in support of the TPP.
So help a brother out. He's initially saying that NPR has gone even further left in their reporting on TPP. So far that they are on the other side (right) in supporting it?

Meanwhile were you not complaining about NPR's highlight of the effects on a blue state (left) industry while ignoring the plight or "carnage" (channeling Trump) of it's effects on the midwest (center right)?

Nuanced indeed.

So is TPP supported by the left or right? Which is it? Or perhaps it's supported by corporatists on both sides and Trump's position has made it a bad idea for those who normally like free trade?

Just a year and a half ago, only 5 Republican senators voted against fast-tracking it.

I've read through the methodology on this thing a couple times and I can't find any detail on what they include as Federal contracts. So I can't have an opinion on it - but the states fall about where I would have thought they would.

In fact, I can't find any specificity at all on the breakdown of what their criteria were. Maybe I missed it and someone can help me.

Maybe that's the way they wanted it to be, so people can't go figure it out themselves.
