The tipping point was long ago, it just didn't tip in the direction you're talking about. It tipped in the direction of millions of people who figured out that they weren't the "we the people" the Constitution was talking about and opted out of voting and the establishment in general, to the extent that they can; thats the direction of the future - towards fragmentation and away from participation in "their" game. The unity bullshit everyone is whining about isn't going to happen; it may appear that way but that will be because of the homogeneity of those who remain to participate in the official political system. The rest of us will be deep in the Shawnee National Forest, or the local equivalent, trippin' balls and jammin' bluegrass...
