Walz is a piece of shit. Nobody lies about being in combat when they weren't. I specifically go out of my way to let people know I was ONLY a Reservist. Never activated and never saw a combat environment.

I remember when all the people that were in my until got activated to go to the UAE. All the people that resigned commissions were just like Walz. Only there to collect a paycheck and then wanted nothing to do with the military once they got asked to do what they signed up for.

Did they resign a few months before being told they may be activated and a few more months before they received orders?

You'd have to ask kalm - I'm not sure at fancy golf clubs that utilize caddies as well as carts if the caddies just stand on the back like he's doing. I've never golfed with a caddie so I wouldn't know.

The timeline given by multiple senior NCOs from his unit at the time said Walz knew they were deploying to Iraq before he decided he was going to turn tail.
