RLUSD is backed by the US dollar so is Tether

Keep making cross border payments then. The current system (SWIFT) is slow 523 per second. Most crypto based networks can do 5500 to 10000 per second

No, do your own homework or you can also purchase my new memecoin and then you will get an education
So there’s some insurance. That’s good. How does that work with pump and dump type schemes?

And why aren’t economists and financial guys backing this?
Pump n dump is all meme coins. I've said it before don't buy them, if you do you deserve everything you get, that is "assurance"

Some economists and "financial guys" are backing this the majority are like you. They will fight until they miss the boat, just like people did with the internet and cell phones. Then when they are forced to adapt its great for them but the money has been made.

My belief is that most financial guys wont adapt in public because it ruins the current financial system for them, they want control and they want all the money. Crypto was supposed to be decentralized, it was freedom from governments and banking elites. They are ALL buying it behind the scenes and trying to get ahead of losing control but its too late.

Every country that matters have dove in head first, Japans banks will all be running on XRP by the end of 2025 Most of Europes banks as well. Saudi Arabia and UAE have been using it for years. These networks and the technology behind them are light years ahead of current garbage. Faster, cheaper and more secure.

Dont buy in, even after the rest of the world does, stay strong and but Trump everyone!

Give him a few weeks and we can hear first-hand. :coffee:
If I lost everything I have tied up in crypto right now I would lose absolutely ZERO dollars. I spent a certain amount of money in this, made a ton took my initial investment out and if I lost it all tomorrow who cares? Its just money. A lot of money

Some whale just bought 78 million worth of XRP because he knows what is going to happen tomorrows crypto summit.

Don't buy any, its too late and you will get rugged.

Should have bought 4 years ago (like me) when XRP was 5-8 cents. Trump got elected XRP went to $3.28 and tomorrow it will probably go up double or much more.

I was looking at buying some when it was $.50, but didn't. Just don't have the cash to make anything appreciable if I were to invest. A $1,000 investment won't be a life changer for me. Now if I had 150k to invest, that might be worth something.

Yeah its like buying Pi last month. it went from pennies to 2 bucks in a month and nobody knows about it. Trouble is you cant buy it on anything I have access to. Not available on Coinbase, Uphold, Crypto, Gemini or Kraken.

I only have 10k XRP, I figured if it was gonna do anything huge thats more than enough. Wish I didn't think so small years ago. Now when I get into stuff at that price I make 50k my minimum. Like, I have with HBAR, XDC, XLM and ADA

I have 120k in Flare and Telcoin and I am gonna keep buying until they get over a dime

HBAR is going to be huge, in fact I would bet by the end of this year its in the top 5 or 10 cryptos in the world. Hashgraph is the best network out there IMO and today HBAR application just got accepted for an ETF on the NASDAC

So the crypto networks that banks all over the world are not using a "real" thing.

It's money in another form. Sure it's real, but it's not really anything novel or unique, and certainly not what it was proposed to be when it first came into being. When crypto currencies are tied to the US dollar, it's far from its original purpose. The crypto that's practiced today is just a speculation market for people to dabble in.

Most crypto is not "money".

Its digital real estate
Its digital assets
Its new technology

Its far more tangible and "real" than the "internet" that is delivered to your house or office.

All of which have monetary value. When you buy crypto are you mining it yourself or are you passing over money to buy it? I have digital assets in my bank. When I pay bills, no one sees actual money, it's electronically transferred. Digitally. If crypto was what it was originally penned to be, an independent currency with no tie to any government, that would be a thing. When you peg it be the value of the US dollar, it just becomes a different version of the dollar.

Its only tied to fiat currencies for direct money transfer as I understand it.

This is why when you transfer large sums of money across borders, it is not instantaneous and takes time. Individual banks have to make sure they have the proper amounts of currency (dollars to Yen or Dollars to Euros) to cover the transaction. That isn't true with crypto and stable coins. Crypto is far more than "money". It is the technology that the entire global financial system will be running on in the very near future.

It doesn't take that much time. Right now, crypto is basically a standalone speculation market. People put real money into it and, like betting at a casino, look to pull their money out when they've made enough, or have lost enough, depending on how their wager turned out. It's a game, that's it. A very expensive game, and a game that can win people a lot of money, but a game nonetheless.

I don't think its like a casino at all.

If you buy Bitcoin or any of the top 20 alt coins there is virtually NO way possible to lose money. If you buy meme coins you are a retard and should lose money 99% of the time.
